Postal Reborn by Hilkarus

Postal Reborn by Hilkarus is an all-in-one mailbox enhancement for World of Warcraft: Midnight (12.1). It rebuilds the classic Postal experience on a fully modernized codebase — Settings API, no legacy dropdown code — and restores the classic Postal module names. Every feature is an independent module you can toggle on or off.

Inbox

• OpenAll — Opens your entire inbox in one click, with filters for auction mail (cancelled, expired, outbid, sold, won), postmaster mail, and other attachments. Shift-click temporarily overrides your filters. Respects a configurable number of free bag slots, and automatically refreshes to keep going when your inbox holds more than the 100 visible mails. The postmaster filter is localized for 11 client languages.
• Select — Adds numbered checkboxes to inbox rows so you can open or return a specific set of mails. Shift-click for range select, Ctrl-click to select every mail from the same sender.
• Express — Shift-click any mail to loot its contents instantly, Ctrl-click to return it to sender; hover tooltips list every attachment in a mail.
• DoNotWant — A small delete/return icon on each inbox row to get rid of mail without opening it. Shift-click skips the confirmation prompt.
• Forward — Sends an opened mail's attachments straight into a new compose window, ready to redirect to someone else. Optional beta support for stackable items with safe stack-splitting that aborts rather than guess.
• CarbonCopy — A copy button on opened mail that pulls the full message text — including auction invoices — into a scrollable window you can copy from.
• Rake — When you close the mailbox, prints the net gold you collected during the session.

Sending

• Express — Alt-click a bag item to attach it to your outgoing mail (auto-sends when a recipient is already filled in), Ctrl-click to bulk-attach every similar item. Soulbound items are skipped.
• QuickAttach — Per-category buttons along the Send Mail frame (cloth, leather, ore, herbs, enchanting, cooking, and more) that bulk-attach all matching trade goods from your bags. Right-click a button to assign it a default recipient.
• BlackBook — Recipient autocomplete as you type, drawn from recent recipients, saved contacts, your alts, friends, and guild — cross-realm aware, with Tab / Shift+Tab cycling.
• AddressBook — A searchable contact panel that opens next to the Send Mail window, listing recent recipients and manually saved contacts.
• Wire — Auto-formats the subject line with the exact amount when you send gold, so the recipient always sees what was sent.

Quality of life

• TradeBlock — Blocks incoming trade requests while the mailbox is open so nothing interrupts your flow, and restores them when you close.
• MailAlert (off by default) — Replaces the default minimap mail icon with a compact button next to the clock that glows when new mail arrives; hover to see the unread senders.
