Track and search inventory across all your characters

AltInventory is a lightweight addon that saves and displays the contents of bags and bank for all your characters, allowing you to quickly find items without logging into each alt.

• Each bag displayed in its own frame with icon and slot count
• Bag tooltip on icon hover showing bag name and details
• Visual distinction between equipped bags (green border), bank bags (gold border), and backpack (grey border)
• Section headers for Bags and Bank with item counts

Chat Commands

• /alti - Open the main interface
• /alti search <text> - Search items across all characters
• /alti list - List all tracked characters
• /alti rescan - Force rescan of current character's bags
• /alti delete <name> - Delete a character's data
• /alti help - Show all commands

Installation

1. Extract the AltInventory folder to World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns\
2. Reload UI or restart the game
3. Use /alti rescan on each character to initialize bag data
4. Visit the bank on each character to save bank contents

Notes

• Bank data requires visiting the banker at least once per character
• Data persists across sessions and game restarts
• Shift+Click on items to link them in chat
