- [Statuses\Health][Forever] Use the secret value path
Forever returns secret health values but took the non-retail path,
which compares and divides them for the low health alert, the text and
the deficit threshold. It also matched none of the event checks, so it
registered neither UNIT_HEALTH nor UNIT_HEALTH_FREQUENT and health only
updated on roster and max health changes. Take the retail path and
register UNIT_HEALTH like retail. - [Statuses\Heals][Forever] Use the heal prediction calculator
Forever has CreateUnitHealPredictionCalculator and returns secret
values from UnitGetIncomingHeals, but it took the non-retail path,
which does arithmetic and comparisons on them and loads LibHealComm,
which needs the combat log Forever forbids. Take the retail path:
the calculator, the retail options, and showing incoming heals on the
incoming healing bar by default. - [Statuses\Resurrect][Forever] Track only incoming resurrections
Forever matched the "not classic and not retail" branch, which
registers COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED, and Forever forbids addons from
registering it. Register only INCOMING_RESURRECT_CHANGED there, like
retail. - [Statuses\RaidIcon][Forever] Use the retail marker texture on Forever
Forever returns the raid target index as a secret value like retail,
so it can't index the per-marker settings. Take the retail path, which
lets the icon indicator pick the marker via SetRaidTargetIconTexture.
That path passes no color, which indicators replace with opaque white;
the icon indicator draws it as its background, a white square behind
the marker (seen on Forever, and the same code runs on retail unless
the icon border size is 0). Pass a color with ignore set instead. - [Statuses\Auras][Forever] Enable the aura defaults and options on Forever
The .toc loads AurasNew on Forever, but its default settings and its
options (Add Buff, font size and color, duration text, Remove Aura)
were retail-only, so Forever got none of them. Forever now gets the
general settings and the options; the spell presets stay retail-only,
as they use retail spells. - [Status] Read class list and colors from the client
Forever matches none of the per-flavor class tables, so PlexusClasses
stayed nil and building the class color options failed. Instead of
adding another table, read the classes the client reports via
GetClassInfo, colored from RAID_CLASS_COLORS (or CUSTOM_CLASS_COLORS).
Class IDs have gaps and may repeat for classes a client lacks, so all
IDs are scanned and duplicates skipped. - [Core] Add IsForeverWow
Forever reports WOW_PROJECT_ID as WOW_PROJECT_CAMELOT (18), which none
of the existing flavor checks match. Other clients don't define the
constant, so the check is false there.
