PlayerGlowFX is a cosmetic addon for World of Warcraft that enhances your character with beautiful animated effects, glowing particles, magical auras, sparkling stars, and unique visual styles.

Choose from a collection of handcrafted effects, customize their appearance, and create a magical look that matches your character.

Full Customization

PlayerGlowFX includes an easy-to-use configuration menu with controls for:

• Effect size and transparency

• Number of animated stars

• Horizontal and vertical positioning

• Individual saved settings for each glow

• Optional spectrum colors

• Lava + Stars and Stars Only display modes

• Combat-only visibility

• Low FPS mode

Each glow remembers its own settings. Adjusting one effect does not overwrite the positions or appearance of your other effects.

Default Settings

PlayerGlowFX is ready to use immediately after installation.

• Midnight Prism selected automatically for new users

• Self effects enabled

• Individual effect customization available

Existing users retain their saved settings when updating.

Other Players & Synchronization

PlayerGlowFX includes optional features for displaying supported effects from other addon users.

The synchronization system allows compatible addon users to share their selected effects when supported communication conditions are met.

Note: Other-player effects and synchronization depend on addon compatibility, game API restrictions, and available communication channels. Other players may need PlayerGlowFX installed to participate.

Easy-to-Use Interface

Access the configuration menu using the minimap button. Switch between glow presets, adjust their appearance, and save your preferred settings without manually editing addon files.

Important Information

PlayerGlowFX is a cosmetic interface addon. Its visual effects are created using the game's addon interface and are subject to Blizzard's UI limitations.

Effects are not native 3D character attachments. Their appearance and positioning can vary with camera movement, mounting, interface configuration, and client restrictions.
