Description

PickMePlz: a little mascot pops up when something needs you, then quietly goes away. No chat spam, ever.
Meet the mascots

- The Miner: an ore vein (or a stone creature) is within reach.
- The Herbalist: a herb to pick, right where you stand.
- The Skinner: the beast you just killed can be skinned.
- The Timekeeper: a timed quest is running.
- The Sleeper: you're resting on the Cozy Sleeping Bag.
- The Camper: a campfire is right next to you, the perfect spot for your sleeping bag.
- The Angler (new): your fishing pole is equipped.
- The Diver (new): you're running out of air.
- The Repairer (new): your gear is worn out, time to visit a smith.
Your race, your gender

Every mascot looks like your own character: all 19 race and gender combinations, Skyborne included (red feather for the Horde, blue for the Alliance). 171 hand-made portraits, picked automatically.
Gathering

- Real detections only: the game itself spots what's within reach. No database guessing, no false alerts.
- Only for your professions: no Mining learned, no Miner.
- Skinning as soon as the beast dies, silent so farming stays peaceful.
- Click-through: a mascot never blocks a chest, a node or an NPC.
Campfire, fishing, diving and repairs

- Campfire Nearby: shows up the moment you get the buff, only while you can still gain Well-Rested. Steps aside as soon as you lie down.
- Fishing pole: stays on screen while the pole is in your hands. Enter combat with it and the title turns red, so you never fight with a fishing rod again.
- Out of breath: nothing while you swim. With less than 15 seconds of air left, a countdown appears, turns red under 5 seconds, and disappears as soon as you surface.
- Repairs: right after a wipe, as soon as an equipped item drops below 20%, the Repairer shows up out of combat with the most worn item's durability. It steps aside during fights, comes back after each one, and leaves once you've repaired. Works with auto-repair. Threshold:
/pmp repair 10,20or30.
Timed quests

- Quest name and time left, from the moment you accept it until you turn it in, even in combat.
- Under 1 minute, the title turns red with a single sound.
- No list to maintain: the timer comes from the game itself, every timed quest is covered.
Cozy Sleeping Bag

- 1% per minute, 3% after 3 minutes: live percentage and countdown.
- "All rested, off you go!" stays on screen until you move.
Every mascot, your way

- One switch, one size (50% to 200%) and one Preview button per mascot.
- Place the mascots: they all show up, drag each one where you want it, mouse wheel to resize, right-click to finish.
- 6 languages: English, Français, Deutsch, Español, Italiano, Русский. Change it from the menu at the top right, instantly, no /reload.
One "plz" button for the family
Also using BuffMePlz (2.1.0 or later)? Both addons share a single minimap button, with a small menu to pick the one you want.
Getting started
- Open the options: /pmp or the plz minimap button.
- /pmp test to see every mascot.
- Place the mascots to set where and how big each one appears.
Commands: /pmp options · /pmp test · /pmp move · /pmp reset · /pmp lang en|fr|de|es|it|ru|auto · /pmp debug · /pmp timers · /pmp auras · /pmp repair 10|20|30
PickMePlz turns on the game's interact-target detection (SoftTargetInteract): that is what lets it spot nodes, herbs and corpses.
A node isn't detected? Type /pmp debug, walk up to it, and post the line that shows up (name + number) in the comments. It will be added in the next version.
