PetsMostWanted is an all-in-one Hunter pet database, research tool, and rare-pet hunting assistant built for WoW Forever.

PetsMostWanted includes information about Hunter pets throughout the game, giving you an in-game reference instead of requiring you to constantly search external websites.

Pet information can include:

• Pet name

• Creature/NPC information

• Pet family

• Level

• Zone

• Known locations and coordinates

• Attack speed

• Pet abilities

• Notable traits

• Taming information

• Special requirements or notes

• Rare and unusual characteristics

🔎 Search + Tame

For supported tracked pets, select your target and use SEARCH + TAME.

PetsMostWanted automatically maintains its own PMW_Hunt character macro for your currently selected pet.

With one action it can:

Clear Target → Target the Exact Pet → Stop if Not Found → Cast Tame Beast

The Search + Tame action can also be assigned through WoW's Key Bindings, allowing you to repeatedly search while moving through a pet's hunting area — even when the main PetsMostWanted window is closed.

🚨 Automatic Rare Detection

PetsMostWanted doesn't just give you coordinates.

While you're hunting a selected rare, it checks supported nearby unit information including:

Target • Mouseover • Focus • Nearby Nameplates

If your selected pet becomes visible, PetsMostWanted can immediately:

• Display a large PET FOUND warning.

• Show a notification in chat.

• Play an audible rare-pet alert.

• Change the tracker status to VISIBLE!

Visual alerts and sounds can be individually enabled or disabled.

📍 Minimap Hunting Locations

Known hunting locations can be displayed directly on your minimap.

The markers dynamically adjust based on your position and minimap rotation.

If a hunting location is farther away than the minimap's visible range, its marker moves to the edge of the minimap to provide a directional cue, helping you patrol toward the next reported location.

Important: These are reported hunting locations. A marker does not mean the creature is currently spawned there.

⚔️ Attack Speed & Melee DPS Information

Attack speed can be especially important when choosing a Hunter pet.

PetsMostWanted displays the reported attack speed of supported pets and can attempt to calculate an estimated melee DPS when the selected creature is available for the game client to inspect.

This gives Hunters another way to compare potential pets instead of choosing solely by appearance.

PetsMostWanted includes an integrated 3D creature preview for supported pets.

Select a pet and the addon attempts to display its actual creature model directly inside the PetsMostWanted interface.

🖥️ Movable & Resizable Interface

The main PetsMostWanted window can be dragged anywhere on your screen.

The interface can be resized from 75% to 150%, and your preferred size and position are saved.

You can also use:

Shift + Mouse Wheel

over the panel to quickly resize it.

A separate movable PetsMostWanted launcher icon can be positioned anywhere on your screen. Click it to instantly show or hide the main tracker.
