Description
PetPulse is a World of Warcraft Classic Era/Hardcore addon for Hunters that gives you a compact, movable pet status frame.
It tracks your active pet's happiness, experience, level, death state, and newly learned pet skills, with a small circular UI built for quick glances during normal play.
Features
- Compact circular Hunter pet frame

- Inner pet XP ring
- Pet level display when the pet is behind your Hunter
- Death overlay when the pet is dead
- Pulsing hungry alert glow
- Optional hungry, pet level-up, pet death, and pet skill screen messages
- Message queue so alerts do not overlap
- Drag-and-drop pet feeding from bag food items
- Minimap button with show/hide, lock/unlock, and options access
- Movable frame with saved position
- Scale control from 50% to 200%
- Option to show the frame only when the pet is hungry
- Local SavedVariables only, no external libraries
Commands
/pp
/petpulse
Notes
PetPulse only runs on Hunter characters and only shows the main frame when an active pet exists, unless the frame is manually hidden.
Happiness prediction is based on Blizzard pet happiness state, loyalty decay estimates, and observed happiness updates. If the prediction ever looks out of sync, use Reset prediction in options or /pp resethappiness.
Drag-and-drop feeding uses a secure click flow required by WoW: drop or click food onto the PetPulse frame, then left click the frame to feed.
PetPulse was developed with significant assistance from AI, especially for implementation, iteration, visual assets, localization drafts, and documentation.
