PBS Sales Rate (TSM RegionSaleRateAVG)

Shows the TSM RegionSalesRate in the sniper list allowing sorting by sales rate. Requires TradeSkillMaster and PointBlankSniper

PBS Sale Rate

Ever sniped an amazing deal... that then sat in your bags for six months?

PBS Sale Rate adds a sortable Sale Rate column to Point Blank Sniper, showing TSM's region sale rate for every item your snipe scan finds. A bargain is only a bargain if it actually sells — now you can see that at a glance, right in your results list.

Features

  • 📊 Sale Rate column in the PBS results list, showing the TSM region sale rate (e.g. 0.245) for every found item — battle pets included
  • 🎨 Color-coded values: green for fast sellers (≥0.3), yellow for moderate (≥0.1), gray for slow movers
  • ⬆️ Click the column header to sort results by sale rate, ascending or descending
  • 🔄 Auto-sort mode (/pbssr auto): every scan round automatically re-sorts so the fastest-selling finds are always at the top — perfect for long sniping sessions
  • 🚀 Lightweight: values are cached per session and add no noticeable overhead to scan speed
  • 🛠️ Built-in diagnostics (/pbssr test <itemID>) if something ever looks off

Items showing "-" have no recorded region sales in TSM's data — which is useful information in itself: that's the stuff that sits in your bags forever.

Requirements

  • Point Blank Sniper (this is a companion addon, it does nothing on its own)
  • TradeSkillMaster with the TSM Desktop App running, so AuctionDB region data is available. Sale rate data comes from the TSM app — no other price addon provides it.

Slash commands

Command What it does
/pbssr Show all commands and current settings
/pbssr auto Toggle automatic sorting of scan results by sale rate
/pbssr refresh Recompute sale rates for the currently listed results
/pbssr test <itemID> Print raw diagnostics for an item (data source checks)

FAQ

Why do values only appear a few seconds after login? TSM deserializes its AuctionDB data in the background after login. Rows scanned before that finishes fill in automatically on the next scan round (or instantly once the data comes online).

What exactly is "sale rate"? TSM's DBRegionSaleRate: roughly, how often a posted auction of this item actually sells, region-wide. 1.000 means it basically always sells; 0.002 means almost never. Combine it with a good price percentage in PBS and you stop buying pretty paperweights.

Does it work without TSM? Sale rate data only exists in TSM's ecosystem, so realistically you want TSM installed. (There is experimental support for reading the Desktop App's data directly via TradeSkillMaster_AppHelper without the full TSM addon, but AppHelper's TOC has a hard dependency on TSM you'd need to edit out manually — for advanced users only.)

Feedback and bug reports welcome — if a value in the column ever disagrees with the TSM tooltip, run /pbssr test <itemID> and include the output in your report.
