What's new

Pawprint 1.5.1

Loot

  • New tabs: "Lockout and loot" has four tabs now: Lockout, Loot, Loot filter and Item lists. /pawloot opens the loot tab.
  • Auto loot: Pawprint's own auto loot replaces "Fast loot". It takes the loot the moment it is ready, before the loot window shows. Blizzard's auto loot is off while it is on and comes back when it is off. Hold Shift while looting to open the loot window as usual (Blizzard's auto loot key is off meanwhile, so Shift no longer makes Blizzard take everything; your key comes back with your setting). Whoever had fast loot together with Blizzard's auto loot on keeps auto loot on.
  • Loot filter: with auto loot, only what the rules let through is taken. The loot window closes and the rest stays in the corpse. Can be limited to playing solo.
  • Item lists: "Always take" and "Never take" side by side on their own tab - add an item by dragging it from your bags onto the list, with Shift + click (bags, chat, loot window) or by typing its name (part of a name is enough); remove it with the red x. Items show with icon, quality colour and tooltip - a typed full name too, once the item is known (in your bags or seen this session). "Never take" wins over every other rule. Money is always taken, quest items optionally; items rolled for in a group are never touched.
  • Rules: every rule is a reason to take an item, one that fits is enough: quality (grey to epic), item categories (cloth, herbs, ore and stone, leather, trade goods, consumables, recipes, bags, keys, other), a vendor value in gold, silver and copper (per item or per stack), your armour type, an item level for equipment, and bind on equip items in green, blue and purple. Only "Never take" and bag space (with few free slots only better items; stacks you carry are still filled up) leave items behind.
  • One rule or all rules: the rules can also be combined the other way: "All rules fit" takes only items that fit every rule that is set (quality and category and value ...).
  • Presets: Farming, Dungeon and Gold & quest are built in; your own rules can be saved under a name and deleted again. The Loot tab explains the preset shown; your own settings are kept while you try a preset and come back with "Own settings". /pawloot <preset> puts one on, /pawloot on / off switches the filter.
  • Messages: an optional chat line names what the filter left behind (once per corpse, also when it is opened again); a session counter shows money and items looted and what was skipped, and why.
  • Items new to the client: a rare drop the client does not know yet is checked a moment later, so its value, level and binding count too.
  • Test: "Test next loot" shows in the chat what the filter would do with the next corpse, without looting.

Nameplates

  • Quest tags: no more Lua error on test clients when a quest mob's nameplate shows up; the quest lines are now read without filling a tooltip.
