What's new
- No more lag. Since 1.21.4 the game could stutter while you played (hovering items, looting, selling) and the PatchVault window was slow to open, on Retail and on WoW Forever. To tell which game it runs in, the addon looked through every setting the game and all your addons keep, and it did that again each time it needed to know: on every item tooltip, every loot message and every update. It now works it out once per session. Opening the window went from about 100 ms to 3 ms.
- On Retail, PatchVault is back to what it was made for: your weekly progress and the Great Vault. The character sheet, bags and bank, the Alts tab and the item tooltip lines no longer run on Retail. The website already reads Retail characters from Battle.net, so nothing is lost there. WoW Forever keeps everything.
- /pv time opens the window and lists how long each step took, plus the slowest run of each job the addon does in the background since you logged in. Handy if anything ever feels slow again.
