What you get
Retail
- Great Vault all three rows, their progress, how many slots you have unlocked and what item level each one pays out. Once the vault has generated and you open it, the actual items it is offering.
- Every alt's week at once one line per character: open vault slots, item level, Mythic+ rating, crests per tier (flagged when you are at the cap) and the nearest vault slot you could still finish. The addon adds your currencies, which Blizzard's API cannot give.
WoW Forever
- All your characters in one table, sortable, each with a full character sheet: level, experience, gold, time played, zone, stats, gear, reputations, skills and PvP rank.
- Bags and bank for every character, and an item search across all of them.
- Reputation across alts and a history of level-ups, gold and new recipes.
- Professions, account-wide every recipe each character knows, with a link to share them with your guild.
Getting it onto the website
Copy and paste: type /pv, the export line is already selected on the Export tab. Copy it and paste it into the site. Nothing to install besides the addon.
Automatically: the free PatchVault desktop app for Windows watches for the addon's saved data and sends it to your PatchVault account whenever the game saves (on /reload or logout). Pair it once and forget about it. The addon's Sync now button saves right away.
You do not need an account: the website keeps everything in your browser. An account (email or Battle.net) makes it the same on every device.

Privacy
Addons have no internet access; World of Warcraft does not allow it. PatchVault only writes its own saved variables, which you copy yourself or the desktop app sends for you. What the website keeps, and for how long, is on the privacy page.
