PartyCompass
Can't find your group? On-screen arrows point to each party member, with distance. Click to target.
PartyCompass puts a small arrow on your screen for each party member. Each arrow turns to point toward that player from the direction you're facing, and shows their name in class colour and their distance in yards. It's made for new and returning players who keep losing their group in the open world.
Features
- One arrow per party member (up to 4), or follow just one person with
/pc single N. - Distance colours: green when close, yellow farther away, red when far.
- Status at a glance: In range (28 yd or less), Different zone, Dead, Offline, In instance.
- Click an arrow to target that player. This works in combat too.
- Bigger, pulsing party pins on the minimap and world map, in class colours.
- Works out of the box: arrows appear when you join a party, and a one-time tip shows in chat on first login.
- Movable and scalable, with settings saved.
- Options panel in the game's AddOns settings (enable, lock, minimap pins, world map pins, show when solo).

Install
- Install with the CurseForge app, or download the zip.
- Extract so the folder is
World of Warcraft/<your Classic client>/Interface/AddOns/PartyCompass/(for example_classic_era_,_anniversary_,_classic_). - Restart WoW or
/reload, then join a party.
Supported game versions
Classic Era (1.15.9), Classic Forever (1.60.1), Anniversary (2.5.6), Mists of Pandaria Classic (5.5.4). Not built for Retail.
Honest limits
- Dungeons, raids and battlegrounds: Blizzard hides player positions in instances. Arrows go grey and say In instance, and map pins hide.
- Other zones: a party member in another zone or continent shows Different zone with no direction.
- Combat: addons can't show, hide or move clickable frames in combat, so layout changes apply when combat ends. Arrows keep pointing and updating distance during combat.
- Minimap pin placement may be slightly off with minimap-replacement addons.
