Party Guide Viewer

Party Guide Viewer shows which leveling guide each person in your group is on, so you can plan your route together. It works with RestedXP and Zygor.

Open the window with /pgv or /partyguide. The Players page lists your group first and everyone you've heard from before under that, with guild members marked. Hover a row to see what that person's guide addon sent, such as the guide, the step, goal progress, level and addon version.

The Charts page has three pie charts. One shows how many of the people you've grouped with run each addon, one shows the guides you've seen and one shows the classes of the people using them. The top of the window counts your group and your guild.

How it finds people

Party Guide Viewer only listens to what those addons already send to the party. It sends nothing itself, and other players don't need to install it.

"Not checked" means the addon hasn't heard from that person yet. They might still run a guide addon, so don't read it as a no. You'll see the same thing in these cases:

• Zygor doesn't send anything while the player is in an instance, and a housing zone can count as one.
• Zygor's Sync & Share option has to be on, which it is by default.
• RestedXP announces when a group forms or when the player logs in or reloads. If you join people who already have a group, they can stay quiet for a while.
• RestedXP doesn't announce a guide change, so the guide you see can be out of date until its next announce.
• Neither addon talks on the guild channel, so a guildmate only counts after you've grouped with them.
• In a raid you may only hear your own subgroup.

What it saves

The addon saves the name, class, race, level and guides of the people you group with, so your charts keep growing between sessions. That data stays on your PC in your SavedVariables.

Party Guide Viewer isn't made by or connected to RestedXP or Zygor.
