Parcel

A complete mailbox for World of Warcraft. Collect, sort, send, search and track your mail, on every version of the game from Classic Era to modern Retail.

Parcel exists because Postal stopped being maintained and Mailbox Plus was discontinued, leaving a gap where the most used utility addon in the game used to be. It is a full replacement for the default mail window, not a set of buttons bolted onto it: one click empties your mailbox, and a real scrolling window with search, sorting and click shortcuts replaces the seven row pane.

Then it goes further than either addon it replaces.

History. Every mail Parcel sees is archived and stays searchable long after it has left your mailbox. Find the item somebody posted you months ago, read the letter again, and see what became of it.

Auction house data. What you earned, what sold, what the house took, and what a listing actually netted after deposit and cut, all worked out from the mail the auction house already sends you. No scanning and no second addon.

It works away from the mailbox. Open Parcel anywhere to search your history and read your auction numbers. The inbox says plainly when it is showing records rather than live mail.

It watches every character. At login Parcel tells you which of your alts has mail about to expire, because it remembers what was waiting in their mailboxes. Nothing else can tell you that.

Features

Inbox

• Parcel's own scrolling window in place of the seven row pane, with no paging
• Search as you type across senders, subjects, item names and mail text
• Sort by sender, subject, value or time remaining
• Hover a mail for every attachment, what is enclosed, and its fate on expiry
• An icon per row shows whether a mail returns or is deleted when it runs out, and clicking it does that now
• Shift-click to take a mail, ctrl-click to return it, right-click to tick it
• Select a range, or everything from one sender, then Open or Return the lot
• Parcel's own reader opens beside the window with working attachments

Collecting

• One button empties the mailbox, gold and attachments, until nothing is left
• Never automates cash on delivery or Blizzard mail
• Stops before your bags fill, keeping as many slots free as you ask, and still takes anything that tops up a stack you already carry
• Handles mailboxes past the hundred mail cap, asking the server for the rest
• Collect only what you want: auction sales, wins, expiries, cancellations, outbid notices, Postmaster mail and everything else are separate switches
• Shift-click Collect to take everything and ignore those filters for one run
• Reports every mail to chat with item links and a total when it finishes

History

• Every mail Parcel sees is archived and indexed, and outlives your mailbox
• Search with from: to: item: subject: body: type:, or plain words
• Mistype something and it falls back to near matches instead of nothing
• Filter by character, or look across all of them
• Reopen any archived mail in full, attachments and tooltips intact
• Records whether each mail was collected, returned, deleted or is still waiting
• Mark a record taken by hand when Parcel was not watching
• Keep as much or as little as you like, by days and by a hard entry ceiling

Auction house

• Earned, sold, house cut and spent, by day, week, month, year or all time
• Top sellers ranked by what they actually netted, not by how many moved
• Every sale listed with the deposit and the cut broken out
• Per character, or across your whole account

Sending

• Autocomplete from your own characters, past recipients, guild and friends
• Twelve attachments, gold or cash on delivery, postage shown before you commit
• Send gold with no subject and the amount becomes the subject
• Remembers who you last wrote to, without ever overwriting a reply
• Refuses soulbound items with a reason instead of failing silently
• Save mail you send often as a named draft

Everywhere else

• Warns you at login which of your characters has mail about to expire
• Opens anywhere, showing what it last recorded, clearly marked as history mode
• Closes when you walk away from the mailbox, the same as the stock window
• A minimap button, with a choice of envelope, box or the Parcel logo, that also works with Titan Panel, Bazooka, ElvUI or any broker display
• Holds off trade requests and guild charters while you are at a mailbox
• Keybindings for opening Parcel, collecting, and jumping to history
• Dark, Light and Blizzard themes for the Parcel UI
• Any feature can be switched off, and settings support profiles
