# OwlRogue

**A raid helper for Combat Rogues in TBC Anniversary.** OwlRogue keeps an eye on Slice and Dice, Expose Armor, Rupture and your poisons, tells you which finisher comes next and with how many combo points, and sums up every boss fight so you know what to do better next time.

## What it does

### Shows you what to press
- **Middle icon:** Sinister Strike while you build points, the next finisher in green and blinking when it is time. A small preview shows the finisher that comes next.
- **Diamond style (optional):** the next four steps on a rotating diamond, the current one big on the left.
- **Boss planner:** keeps Improved Expose Armor and Slice and Dice up. It refreshes Slice and Dice late and long enough to outlast the next Expose Armor, and suggests Rupture only when it fits.
- **Energy-aware:** plans with your current energy and your current off-hand speed, so haste from Bloodlust, Drums or a haste potion counts right away. It learns your Combat Potency procs and energy income from your own fights.
- **Side icons:** Shiv when Deadly Poison is about to drop, Blade Flurry with two or more enemies in melee range, Adrenaline Rush on trash, Thistle Tea when energy gets tight.

### Tracks your buffs, debuffs and trinkets
- Ability row with timers for Slice and Dice, Expose Armor, Rupture and Deadly Poison (with stacks).
- Trinket row: Warp-Spring Coil and Dragonspine Trophy procs with internal cooldown, and any on-use trinket, detected automatically.
- Combo points as bars, circles or daggers.
- Off-hand poison reminder in dungeons and raids: fades in 2 minutes before your poison runs out, blinks red under 1 minute. Only shows if you carry Deadly or Instant Poison.

### Warns you in time
- "Build combo points" when Expose Armor needs refreshing soon, "EXPOSE ARMOR NOW" at 5 points.
- Slice and Dice running out or missing.
- Use your on-use trinket on bosses.

### Helps on trash too
- Slice and Dice and Eviscerate rules that don't waste combo points on dying targets.
- Blade Flurry when two or more enemies are in range (counted via nameplates).

### Tells you how it went
- **Tips tab:** after every boss fight the owl tells you what went well and what to improve: time to the first Expose Armor, gaps, uptimes, Combat Potency procs, off-hand swings that missed.
- **Personal bests** per boss, and a trash summary per raid night.
- **Stats tab:** hit and expertise against the caps, with and without Improved Faerie Fire and hit food. It notices which food buff you have and recommends hit or agility food.

### Works with OwlCall (optional)
With OwlCall in Black Temple and Mount Hyjal:
- Blade Flurry, Adrenaline Rush and on-use trinkets show **SAVE** when the next boss is too close for them to come back in time.
- OwlRogue sends your expected Expose Armor time, so OwlCall can warn **"Lust soon!"**.

## Getting started
- A short tutorial opens on first login. Open it again any time from the menu or with `/orogue tutorial`.
- **Minimap button:** left-click opens the menu, right-click locks or unlocks.
- Unlock to drag every part where you want it. Every part can be resized and switched off on its own.
- `/orogue test` shows everything moving for 20 seconds.
- `/orogue` lists all commands.

## Feedback
Found a bug or a wrong suggestion? Switch on **"Record boss fights"** in the menu, raid as usual, and send the file `WTF/Account/<account>/SavedVariables/OwlRogue.lua` together with your report. It contains what the addon advised and what you cast in your last 5 boss fights, nothing personal.
