• New weekly domination: the bar starts at 50/50 and only moves when a front is won, +1% for the winning faction. Every player, Alliance and Horde, late joiners included, now sees exactly the same bar. The old time-based domination messages are gone, which removes the largest share of addon traffic.
• The wood system is removed: no more forests, wood counter or wood spending.
• Much lighter network: identical outpost and victory copies are no longer relayed again to players who already have them, zone presence and relayed presence are forwarded less often, and the same message is no longer sent twice on the faction channel. Fewer messages are refused by Blizzard and far fewer are dropped by the relay.
• Live scores of the other faction: a player who receives an enemy player's score directly from their Battle.net friend passes it on to a few players of their own faction, so enemy scores now update within minutes instead of only through catch-up.
• Capture alerts: the start of a capture is sent first even when the relay is busy, and re-sent every 15 seconds at the beginning of a large fight, so defenders are warned sooner.
• Relay messages use Blizzard's server time: a player whose computer clock is ahead is no longer invisible to others.
• The weekly kill limit accepted from other players is raised from 5,000 to 10,000, so top players keep appearing in everyone's ranking.
• Hillsbrad Foothills: the Southshore and Tarren Mill capture circles are half their previous size.
• Minimap capture circles now default to 20% opacity; you can raise it in the options.
• /ov sync now explains the relay's dropped messages (copies refused for others, useless map pages skipped on purpose, your own refused messages).
• A forged row is removed from this week's ranking.
