Introducing Over and Out
Over and Out puts you in your group's voice chat for you, so you never have to remember to click the headphones. This is the first release, for Retail and WoW Forever (1.60.1).
- Joins voice for you: landing in Raid Finder, Dungeon Finder, a battleground or other queued content puts you in Instance voice automatically, with an on/off button for each. It also joins party/raid voice when you form or join a group anywhere (follower dungeons are skipped).
- Stays out of the way: puts your previous voice channel back when the group ends, and picks up where you left off after a /reload or login. Optional guards keep you in guild or community voice, or skip auto-join while you're on open mic.
- Auto-join on login (optional): join your guild's, or one of your communities', voice at login. Set it under Behavior > On Login.
- Lets the group know: in Raid Finder and Dungeon Finder, you emote that you've joined using Over and Out 10 seconds after joining voice. Turn it off in settings.
- Voice roster: a small panel showing who's in voice and who's talking, with (muted) and (deafened) markers. Click a speaker icon to mute someone (only for you) or your own mic to mute yourself. Click the channel name to switch channels or leave voice. Shift+drag to move it, and use the corner arrow to collapse it. Guild, officer and community voice are listed too, outside dungeons, raids and battlegrounds where Blizzard hides that.
- Main Panel (
/oao, the roster's gear, the addon compartment, or Options > AddOns): everyone in voice at once as click-to-mute buttons, a channel switcher, Output and Input device pickers, and the settings. - Looks: 14 color themes and 6 background textures (Rock by default) with a strength slider; hover any to preview it.
