# OpenRoad Guides

Version 1.09

OpenRoad leveling guides for Classic and WoW Forever.

## 1.09

Reminders
- New: "do it while you go" reminders (like collecting Chunks of Boar Meat) float in their own boxes above the guide window, like RestedXP. If the window is near the top of the screen, they hang below it instead.
- New: click the x on a floating reminder (or right-click it) and it drops back into the guide window under your current step. A pin at its top right floats it back up, and it also floats again by itself at the step that needs it, like the turn-in or the step that uses the item.
- New: a short animation shows the reminder dropping into the window, or rising back up when you pin it, so you can see where it went.
- New: pin any kill, loot or grind step yourself with the pin at the top right of the step (quick NPC stops have no pin). It keeps floating above the window after you move on, even once its lines are done, until you click its x.
- New: /or reminders floats every reminder back up at once.
- Reminders that still have work no longer vanish when you move on. Boar Meat at 6/10 keeps floating until you have it all or the guide gets to the next Boar Meat step, and a note like "Save one [Minor Healing Potion] for the Rolf's Corpse step" stays up until that step.

Guide window
- New: Settings > Quests > Guide view. Standard shows just the step you're on. Continuous lists every step of the guide in one scrolling window, like RestedXP: your step is highlighted and kept in view, finished steps are greyed, and you can click any step number to look at it.
- New: colour skins under Settings > Style: OpenRoad Gold, Crimson, Frost, Emerald, Sunfire, Shadow, Alliance, Horde and Steel. Each pairs its own accent, background and header shades, and changes the guide window, reminders and settings panel straight away.
- New: icons on guide lines show at a glance what each one is: pick up, turn in, kill, loot, talk, train, vendor, fly, hearth, grind and death skip. Turn them off under Settings > Style > Line icons.
- New: click the box next to a guide line to tick it off by hand, for things the addon can't see. When every line of a step is ticked, the guide moves on.
- Clicked by mistake? For 30 seconds an "Undo" line shows at the top of the window. Or click the check again any time (use < to go back to it): the line unticks and the guide goes back to that step if it's no longer done.
- New: resize the guide window by dragging the corner grip at the bottom right, sideways for width and up or down for height. Right-click the grip to go back to the automatic size. The grip hides when the window is locked.
- New: < and > step arrows next to the step counter at the top. They never move, so you can click through steps quickly.
- New: grind lines show live XP still to go, like "Level 8 + 4,525 xp: 11,625 xp to go".
- New: when the next quests need a level you don't have yet, the window tells you which ones and how much XP you still need, so you can grind a bit and not skip them.
- The settings window shows the OpenRoad version at the bottom.
- Settings has a new Style tab. Text size, window background and line icons moved there from Window.

Fixes
- Fixed: mob tooltips listed the same quest twice, once from the game and again under "OpenRoad quests". OpenRoad now only adds quests the game's own tooltip doesn't already show, so older clients still get the full list.
- Fixed: icons and check boxes could touch or overlap the text next to them, or be cut off at the top or left edge of the window.
