Ope, Bag's Full

Ope! Bags full again? Your polite Midwestern bag helper combines stacks, then clears the cheapest junk first.

Ope, Bag's Full

Your bags fill up halfway through a quest, and now you're squinting at gray items trying to work out which one is worth the least. Ope does that for you. It combines partial stacks first, then gets rid of the cheapest junk until you have the free slots you asked for.

Works in WoW Forever and Classic Era / Hardcore / Self-Found.

Features

  • Make room. Choose how many free slots you want (5 by default). Ope combines partial stacks first, so nothing is lost. Then each click trashes the cheapest item until you reach your goal. If you already have room, it does nothing.
  • Cheapest first. Items are ranked by the vendor value of the whole stack, so a lone 12c Torn Wing goes before five Broken Fangs worth 15c together.
  • Free slots at a glance. A bag icon beside your backpack shows how many slots you have left, and the number turns red when you're nearly full. Click it to open the Make room panel, or Shift-click it to trash the cheapest item.
  • "Ope, bag's full!" If you loot with full bags, Ope plays a sound, names the cheapest item to trash and opens the panel. It also warns you when you're down to your last few slots.
  • Sells junk at vendors. Gray items and anything on your junk list sell automatically when you open a vendor. While a vendor is open, Make room and Trash sell instead of deleting, so you get the money and can buy items back from the Buyback tab.
  • Keep and junk lists. Click Keep on any row in the panel, or use /ope keep [item], to protect an item for good. Use /ope junk [item] to make an item always count as junk.
  • Works with Stash or Trash. If you also use Stash or Trash, white and green crafting materials your professions (or your alts') can use are never trashed.

Safe by default

  • Only gray items go unless you allow white or green items in the options.
  • Never trashed: quest items, items that can't be sold, bags, ammo, keys and class reagents. Food, drink and potions are kept too, unless you turn that off.
  • Before every delete, Ope checks that the item on your cursor is the one it meant to delete. If you're already holding something, it does nothing.
  • Soul bags, quivers and other special bags are left alone, because emptying them doesn't make room for loot.

One item per click

Blizzard lets addons delete only one item per click or key press, so Ope can't clear five items at once. Each click or key press removes the next cheapest item. You can:

  • click Make room in
  • Shift-click the bag ico
  • bind a key under Key s Full (the quickest way while questing), or
  • put /ope trash in a m

Combining stacks and sell limit, so each happens in a single click.

Notes

  • Deleting is permanent. Items you sell can be bought back from the vendor's Buyback tab.
  • Bag addons like Bagnon hide the default backpack, so the bag icon won't appear. Use the key bindi

I left the Stash or Trash mention as plain text because its CurseForge page is still in review and I donn add the link once it'slive.
