Your own wiki in WoW: write notes on players, NPCs, items, map spots and free pages, then see them in tooltips, in chat and on your map.

Features

• A page for anything. Players, NPCs, items and map spots each get one page. You can also make free pages, like "MC strats" or "Gold routes".
• Quick add. Right-click a player or NPC and choose Add note. Your first note becomes the page's summary. Later ones are added as dated journal lines.
• Summary in tooltips. A page's first line shows in that player's, NPC's or item's tooltip.
• Summary in chat. A player's summary shows in gold before their messages in guild, party, raid, whispers and chat channels. Say and yell are left alone.
• Map notes. Alt+click a zone on the world map, or use /note here, to pin a note to a spot. Pins show on the world map and minimap, and the 3 nearest out-of-range notes sit on the minimap's edge with their distance in yards.
• Pin menu. Hover a pin to read the note. Click it to open the page, or right-click to add a line, set a waypoint with Go there, or delete it.
• Journal view. The summary stands out at the top and dates are grayed. The Add a line box under each page adds a dated line without opening the editor.
• Last seen. Player pages remember the class, level and guild you last saw. NPC pages remember the level and zone.
• Saves as you type. The editor saves on its own, and Revert puts the page back the way it was before you started.
• Links. Shift-click items, quests or spells into a page. Hover them later for the tooltip, or click an item to open its page.
• Find anything. Search titles and text, filter by Players, NPCs, Items, Places or Pages, or shift-click an item into the search box to jump to its page.
• Your call what shows. Checkboxes in the window turn the tooltip, chat and map display on or off.
• Minimap button. Left-click opens the window. Right-click makes a new page or a note where you stand. Drag it to move it.

Good to know

• Nothing leaves your game. OnlyNotes sends no messages, and other players can't see your notes. They're saved on your computer only.
• Notes are account-wide, so every alt sees the same pages.
• Notes never show on your own character.
• /note here and minimap pins don't work inside instances, since the game gives no map position there.
