# BISTracker

BISTracker helps you and your guild keep track of Best In Slot gear during TBC Classic
progression. Import your BIS lists from your guild website, see exactly what you still
need, get alerted when items drop in raids, and share your list with guildmates — all
without leaving the game.

## Features

### BIS List Viewer
Import your class/spec BIS list from your guild website with a simple paste. See all
17 gear slots in a clean table showing the item name, boss source, and whether you
already own it. Items are coloured by quality and collected items are greyed out so you
can focus on what you still need.

### Instance Filter
Heading into Karazhan, Gruul and Magtheridon tonight? Type the raid name in the filter
bar and instantly see only the items you need from those raids — perfect for quickly
putting together your soft reserve list. Searches by both raid name and boss name.

### Drop & Roll Alerts
When a BIS item drops in a loot window or goes up for a Need/Greed roll, BISTracker
announces it in chat with a sound alert. Know immediately when something you need is on
the table without checking your list manually.

### Item Tooltip Annotations
Hover over any item in your bags, the loot window, the auction house, or a chat link.
If it appears on any of your BIS lists, BISTracker adds a note showing which spec and
slot it belongs to.

### Guild BIS Sync
Open the Guild window to see every online guildmate who has BISTracker installed, along
with their active BIS list. Click any member to load their list and see what they still
need. All communication happens silently through WoW's built-in addon message system —
nothing appears in guild chat.

### Multiple Lists Per Character
Import and switch between multiple BIS lists for different specs or phases. Lists are
saved per character so your main and alts each have their own.

### Character Verification
Verify your in-game character on your guild website through a built-in challenge-response
flow. No file uploads — paste a token from the website, copy the generated code, done.

## Getting Started

1. Go to your guild website and find your BIS list
2. Click the Export button to copy the import string
3. In-game, type `/bis import`, paste the string, and click Import
4. Open the main window with `/bis show` or click the minimap button
5. Use the filter bar to search by raid or boss name
