0.14.0 — 23 September 2026

Added

• Version-specific TBC Anniversary dungeon data from the TBC Classic section of Wowhead: The Blood Furnace (zone 3713) in eight verified language variants and Hellfire Ramparts (zone 3562) in four. These names are available as source and target terms when that variant has a verified name.

• Documented TBC shortcuts BF, Ramparts/Ramps, and French Remparts. Ambiguous short forms require a recognizable dungeon recruitment sentence. LFG and LFM now work with the existing group grammar in all 24 language packs; existing language-specific role shortcuts remain in their packs.

Fixed

• Forever-exclusive dungeon entries are removed when loading TBC Anniversary, including their Chinese source dictionary entries. The Forever client does not load the TBC-only entries.

• Missing TBC target-language names no longer silently appear as English translations. German recruitment lines now inflect “den Blutkessel” and “das Höllenfeuerbollwerk”; Russian TBC group lines avoid an incorrect case construction.

• Updated both client TOCs and the startup version to 0.14.0; Forever stays at interface 16001, TBC Anniversary at interface 20506.

Known gaps

• This release does not contain every TBC item, quest, spell, trainer, dungeon, or raid, and does not offer verified translations for every name in all 24 languages. Most TBC-only terms in nonofficial language variants remain unavailable. Unknown names and ambiguous abbreviations are left untranslated.

• Both TOCs pass an offline Lua/API smoke test. In-game testing in both clients is still required.

0.13.1 — 23 September 2026

Added

• One shared archive now supports both WoW: Forever Beta (interface 16001) and Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary (interface 20506). Each client selects its own TOC; both load the same translation and settings code.

• Item and spell links can use the current client's C_Item and C_Spell APIs when their older global lookups are unavailable. Link targets remain intact.

Limitations

• Classic and Forever dungeon names already in the dictionaries work in both clients. TBC-only dungeon names and all newly added profession items have not yet been translated across every language pack.

• Runtime compatibility was checked with mocked client APIs. A live game test in both clients is still needed.

Added

• An option under Options → AddOns → One World Translator → Chat Channels to hide the original message when a translation is available. Original messages remain visible by default, and messages without a reliable translation are never hidden.

• A bright green startup message showing the installed addon version and a translated “loaded” label for the selected target language. Automatic language selection follows the WoW client locale.

• The official simplified Chinese dungeon name 领主大厅 as an alias for Hall of Thanes (German: Halle der Thanen), plus observed Chinese spelling variants.

• More Chinese dungeon group patterns, including invitations such as 领主大厅有人来吗~, compact role lists such as 族長大廳-坦 DD, mixed role abbreviations such as 领主大厅来 T DPS N, and requests for a player of any role.

• Recognition of 4=1 and 1=4 at the end of supported Chinese group ads. The original notation is preserved without guessing its exact meaning.

Fixed

• Translated quest links retain their clickable payload and distinct link color. Text after a link returns to the configured translation color.

• Punctuation directly after a link is preserved; [Quest]-Healer now keeps its hyphen when “Healer” is translated.

• A standalone DPS is no longer expanded as “damage per second” without context. In supported group ads, DPS is treated as a damage role.

Limitations

• The standalone Chinese shorthand 大厅/大廳 is ambiguous and remains untranslated unless a longer, known dungeon name is present. Short messages such as 求组大厅, 大廳-補, and 大厅少个DPS，吼一下 are intentionally left unchanged.

• The addon uses offline dictionaries and supported chat patterns. It cannot translate arbitrary conversations or unknown game content.
