What's new
OmniumObservator
v1.0.5 (2026-06-22)
Full Changelog Previous Releases
- v1.0.5 - Omnium Folio companion: AceConfig options + per-character profiles, Devouring Watch panel (Void Assaults + economy), Nilhammer forge bar (10 styles) + weekly gem bar, Void Favor + voiced 3D advisors (Decimus/Terminas/Riko/You) + Xal'atath, hover tooltips, custom favor icon + live previews, embedded Ace3, dead-code cleanup + baked defaults
- Stabilize panel bg: the 9-slice void skin (border.tga) renders as missing-texture on Midnight despite being a valid TGA (banner/heroine load fine) - switch it off by default, fall back to solid void-purple bg + purple border. Skin now an opt-in 'experimental' toggle. border.tga 9-slice render is the top item to debug next session
- Header: banner on all panels (not just main), bigger heroine emblem (62px) on main panels only, banner height tunable via db.bannerH + Appearance 'Banner size' slider (live); restore/clarify the weekly [+]/[-] collapse button with a dark plate so it reads over the banner
- Fix: WoW can't decode PNG textures (shows the purple/black missing-texture checkerboard) - convert all addon textures to 32-bit TGA (border/banner/heroine/gems/minimap/icon, power-of-two) and repoint every SetTexture + TOC IconTexture. Art unchanged, just the format
- Config: tabbed window (Appearance/Panels/Decimus/Content) with live-value sliders incl. the new Font size slider; per-row content toggles (Motes/rolls/Voidcores/Voidshard/orbs/Nilhammer/reset) wired into the builders; theme toggles (skin/banner/gembar/collapse); /oo config opens it, /oo config blizzard for the native page; native Options page brought to parity
- Banner: switch to C0 (user pick) - re-key + redeploy as banner.png
- Banner: lock C1 (keyed) as banner.png; wire it as the ornate header title plate on the main panels (horizontal 9-slice so scrollwork ends stay crisp), taller header; /oo banner off|on toggle
- Mascot: refresh heroine.png from edited s1_06 (cleaner cutout)
- Mascot: wire s1_06 void-sorceress (heroine.png) as the panel body watermark + header emblem, replacing the gold-ring placeholder; aspect-correct sizing, alpha nudged for the void skin
- Banner v3: metallic top-lit gold gradient (pass A) + nebula void depth, star sparkles, cap filigree (pass B). Real alpha, flat center, no baked text
- Banner v2: metallic beveled gold frame, ribbon-tail caps + end/midpoint gems, gold rivets, star-flecked void, layered glow/shadow. Still flat-centered (no baked text), real alpha
- Art: author Voidstorm banner/title-plate directly (Pillow, 4x supersampled) - void body + gold frame, ribbon-tail caps, faceted purple gems; real transparency, flat center for in-engine titles. No more fake-transparency salvage needed
- Gems: weekly-unlock gem progress bar (common->legendary light up as the 5 Seeking Knowledge weeks unlock; locked = desaturated). Assets cut from GemS1 white-bg sheet via edge flood-fill (preserves the white common gem's interior). Shown on This-week + standalone panels; db.gemBar
- Art: void panel skin (voidbg + g50zx4 frame, salvaged from baked-checkerboard exports), 9-sliced via SetTextureSliceMargins; bg-only alpha fades it; /oo border <margin> <outset>|on|off live tuner. Gems blocked on real-alpha re-export (white gem == white checker)
- Decimus: wire 9 real voice-over FileDataIDs from Wowhead Sounds tab (VO_120_Decimus 22/61/62/64-69) - replaces the non-playable sound-entry id 327617; he now speaks his actual lines on open/click
- Config: native Blizzard Settings panel (Options > AddOns) via modern Settings API - opacity/scale/font/watermark, dock/guide/lock, Decimus model+lock+voice+size, minimap; pcall-guarded with custom frame fallback (/oo config legacy); opens via category ID (dodges Midnight OpenToCategory bug)
- Decimus: bigger frame (bleeds off edge) + lockable (db.modelLocked); easter egg: earn favor via clicks/build-cycles or the folio achievement to unlock bonus models (/oo model next, Decimus + Terminas)
- Decimus: use the native WoW chat-bubble artwork for his speech bubble
- docs: adopt suite README standard (consistent formatting across the suite)
