MAJOR UPDATE — Classic Era & TBC Classic

One of our biggest updates yet!

OmniCC GODMODE 1.3.4 delivers a major overhaul of the Classic Era and TBC Classic versions, bringing their features, appearance, customization, and overall experience much closer to our Forever and Midnight editions.

This update includes extensive improvements across nearly every major system, including nameplates, buffs and debuffs, player portraits, cooldown tracking, settings persistence, UI customization, and performance.

Our goal is to deliver the same powerful GODMODE experience across all supported World of Warcraft clients.

🚀 Major Performance Improvements

• Major optimization of the NPC and player nameplate aura engines.

• Removed unnecessary recursive aura-container scanning responsible for significant performance overhead.

• Improved camera rotation performance when many nameplates are visible.

• Reduced unnecessary aura updates, frame processing, and repeated styling operations.

• Preserved optimized aura caching and nameplate update throttling.

• Improved overall responsiveness during combat, dungeons, raids, and crowded areas.

🎨 Major UI & Visual Overhaul

• Updated Classic Era and TBC Classic to more closely match the visual appearance of GODMODE Forever and Midnight.

• Improved buff and debuff icon styling across player frames, target frames, and nameplates.

• Unified cooldown text appearance, positioning, and theme handling.

• Improved icon scaling, spacing, borders, and text readability.

• Updated default buff icon size and cooldown text size.

• Improved consistency between addon menus and the systems they control.

✨ Buffs & Debuffs — Major Improvements

• Repaired SELF and TARGET frame aura controls.

• Fixed Buffs and Debuffs ON/OFF behavior.

• Added immediate visibility updates without requiring UI reloads.

• Improved GODMODE icon ownership to prevent unwanted native aura duplication.

• Fixed cooldown text styling on Classic Era and TBC Classic frames.

• Improved buff/debuff filtering, positioning, and display consistency.

• Updated default buff icon size to 20 and cooldown text size to 8.

• Preserved existing debuff size settings.

🎯 Nameplate System Overhaul

• Improved NPC aura rendering and filtering.

• Fixed NPC Auras ON/OFF to update instantly.

• Fixed CC Right / Above positioning changes not updating live.

• Improved Current Target Only functionality.

• Repaired friendly player nameplate HoTs, Buffs, and Debuffs controls.

• Improved independent filtering of friendly aura categories.

• Optimized nameplate updates to reduce unnecessary processing.

🧙 Player Portrait Improvements

• Repaired Player Portrait controls and their connection to the active aura engine.

• Improved buff selection and priority handling.

• Timed combat buffs now take priority over ordinary permanent effects.

• Prevented unwanted buffs such as Chronoboon-related effects from taking over the portrait.

• Improved custom buff filtering and exclusions.

• Fixed settings being incorrectly restored or overwritten after reload.

⏱️ Cooldowns Only & Auto Fit

• Fixed Cooldowns Only not saving its enabled state.

• Improved profile-based settings persistence.

• Removed conflicting legacy saving behavior.

• Unified reload confirmation with the GODMODE countdown window.

• Preserved Auto Fit cooldown text functionality and customization.

• Improved compatibility between cooldown rules and aura display systems.

• Fixed Player HoT Tracker ON/OFF persistence.

• Improved saved-state restoration.

• Preserved existing positioning, movement, and sizing functionality.

• Improved integration with the shared GODMODE configuration system.

• Major improvements to settings persistence across multiple modules.

• Fixed several controls that were not correctly connected to their active systems.

• Preserved existing user profiles and SavedVariables.

• Improved feature consistency between Classic Era, TBC Classic, Forever, and Midnight.

OmniCC GODMODE 1.3.4 is much more than a small bug-fix release.
