Olympus Fireside

A Living World Built From Your Adventures in Azeroth.

Olympus Fireside started as a simple chat-filtering addon for the Olympus community. Somewhere along the way, it grew into something quite a bit bigger.

Today, it’s a playable, RPG-inspired social experience built inside World of Warcraft, combining an explorable world, adventure tracking, player memories, and guild community features.

The idea is simple: make the adventures we share, the people we meet, and the stories we create in Azeroth feel a little more permanent.

It’s part adventure journal, part social gathering place, and part experimental RPG. All built around the Olympus community.

Launch Notice: Fireside is an ambitious project, and some bugs or graphical issues may appear during launch. A Day 1 hotfix is planned to address any known issues and improve the experience. Thank you for your patience and support as we Keep the Fire Alive! 

Explore an interactive 2.5D fantasy world with animated characters, dynamic lighting, environmental effects, interactions, and an original soundtrack.

Players you’ve encountered along the way in Azeroth can appear in your world using their previously recorded appearances, bringing familiar faces into a space of your own.

Your personal journal written by Athena records meaningful encounters, milestones, quests, battles, and other moments from your journey.

Athena doesn't just track what you do in Azeroth. It remembers where you went, who you met, and the moments that made your adventures unique. Your Journal transforms those memories into stories, Atlas retraces your journeys, and Fireside brings familiar faces back to life. It's your own Warcraft history, remembered and brought to life.

Remember when the internet felt a little more personal? Communities had their own spaces, familiar names, and shared histories.

Aether takes inspiration from that era, connecting Olympus members through community interaction, shared experiences, and personal histories in a p2p shared network. 

A Note From the Developer

Olympus Fireside is a solo-developed passion project. It’s ambitious, a little experimental, and very much a work in progress.

Countless hours have gone into optimizing Fireside's CPU usage, memory management, rendering pipeline, and background systems. Despite running an entire interactive world inside World of Warcraft, Fireside has been carefully engineered to deliver smooth, responsive gameplay with minimal CPU overhead but it's still a substantial addon with a larger memory footprint.

There will be improvements, bugs, and plenty more to come.

And to everyone who downloaded the original ChatWarden beta expecting a chat filter…
