Quick UI Swap lets you switch between two saved Edit Mode layouts with a click, or let the addon switch them automatically for combat.
Use one layout for everyday play and another for fights, dungeons, or raids. The swap button fits into WoW's stock Micro Menu in the Shop button's spot.

- A layout number on the button and a blue A when automatic switching is on.
- Options in Settings and beside the action-bar and Micro Menu controls in Edit Mode.
- Layout choices and automatic switching preferences saved separately for each character.
- Optional chat messages when layouts change.
- An option to bring back the Shop button.
- No other addons required.
Getting started
- Create and save two different layouts in WoW's Edit Mode.
- Open Settings > AddOns > Quick UI Swap, or type
/uiswap. - Choose your layouts under Layout 1 and Layout 2. Use this UI selects the layout you're using now.
- Click the arrows button in the Micro Menu to switch.
Button shortcuts
- Left-click: switch layouts.
- Right-click: open options.
- Shift-click: turn automatic switching on or off.
Automatic switching
Turn on Switch layouts automatically. The In combat setting shows which layout is used for fights; click Change to choose the other one. Normally, combat uses that layout and leaving combat switches back.
- Keep combat layout in dungeons / raids: stay on it for the entire dungeon or raid.
- Keep combat layout while grouped: stay on it while in a party or raid, including outdoor groups.
If both options are enabled, the combat layout stays in use while you're fighting, inside a dungeon/raid, or grouped. The other layout returns once all three have ended. The sentence beneath these options explains when it will switch back.
Automatic switching starts off. Turning it off keeps the layout you're currently using. Turning it on takes effect at the next fight, group change, or zone change.

The auto, instances, and groups commands also accept on or off. /quickswap works as an alternative to /uiswap.
Installation and compatibility
Extract the QuickUISwap folder into your active WoW client's Interface\AddOns folder, then restart WoW or type /reload. When updating, replace the old addon files; your saved choices are retained.
Tested on WoW: Forever 1.60.1. This download targets interface 16001.
Quick UI Swap changes the game's saved UI layout. It does not switch spells, keybinds, talents, or other addons' profiles. Save or revert unfinished Edit Mode changes before switching. Manual switching is unavailable during combat. The dungeon/raid option does not include battlegrounds, arenas, or scenarios.
