At its core, this cursor has two main elements: the crosshair itself, large enough to be easily seen without obstructing the UI, and the edge-to-edge lines that lead to the crosshair, helping your eyes locate it quickly at a glance.

Various settings help customizing each of those two elements:


The crosshair is just one of many options, thanks to the addon's layering system and a host of already included textures of various kinds.

When it comes to colors, each layer (and the lines) can be assigned to one of the following:

• a static color
• a color variable reference (CV)
• a class color reference (CC)
• a current class reference (Cu)

A static color only applies to it's respective element, any of the references instead though will update all elements that have the reference assigned, enabling quick color changes across multiple elements or even profiles.

The slash command /omc can be used to open the settings quickly. Alternatively the settings can be found in the Options > Addons tab.

This used to be a WeakAura that I built to help myself keep track of my cursor during combat as I started having issues finding it occasionally in the heat of battle. Existing addons and other WeakAuras didn't work sufficiently for me, and that situation hasn't changed with Midnight — so I decided to recreate my old WeakAura as a standalone addon.

Given the "opportunity" to recreate this as a standalone addon, I decided to add a whole lot of features that will hopefully prove useful to someone out there.

AI Disclaimer: The code for this addon was written entirely by ChatGPT & Claude, with only minimal coding by myself. I could have written it myself over many weeks, but I wanted a working addon as quickly as possible. Should someone else release a hand-crafted addon with similar—or even additional—features, I will gladly remove this addon immediately and switch myself.

I’m open to adding features or making changes, as long as they align with the overall vision of the addon. I’ve done extensive testing, but if you spot any bugs I may have missed, please let me know.
