NyariForeverUI-1.1.0-beta.34
What's new
Nyari Forever UI
1.1.0-beta.34
- Nyari UI: Accept quests under Quests > Quest helpers is now a choice of Off, Automatically or Only while holding Shift. Only while holding Shift accepts a quest when you hold Shift as you talk to the quest giver or press it while their window is open, and leaves quests to you otherwise. Holding Shift still pauses handing in quests. If you had Accept quests on, it is set to Automatically.
- Action bar Visibility is now Always, Faded or Hidden. A Faded bar stays faded until one of its Fading settings brings it back: Show in combat, Show out of combat, Show on hover or Show with a target. Faded opacity sets how visible it stays. The new Action bars > Fading page sets Fade time, Delay before fading and Show while dragging. A bar set to On hover is now Faded and fades as before. Faded bars keep working, clicks and keys alike.
- Gathering icons are on by default under Map > Gathering icons and show while Find Herbs or Find Minerals is active. They stay on their dots while you move or turn, new nodes usually get icons within a second or two, and a gathered node loses its icon within about a second. Close nodes of the same kind no longer get an extra icon between them or one icon for both, and nodes near the minimap's edge get icons too.
- Class fantasy is on by default. Characters and shared profiles still at the old default turn it on once, and a later choice is kept. Turn it off under Class fantasy > General or in character setup.
- Fixed the game blocking an action during a fight after you clicked a quest in the quest list or a friend's pin. The quest log, or the map on your friend's zone, now opens when the fight ends.
- Opening the spellbook's Training tab no longer adds an error to the Errors page.
- Nyari Panels: Make room when looting and Make room for quest rewards are on by default. Both turn on once for everyone who had them off, saved profiles included. Turn them off under Full bags on the Bags page.
- Make room for quest rewards also opens when the game closes the quest window because your bags are full. It stays open with the quest's rewards, the free slots they need and what is left to do. With Complete the quest after deleting on, as it is by default, the quest is completed with the reward you chose once there is room: at once while the quest window is open, or when you talk to the quest giver again.
- The Bags tab no longer stays open on "Click to open your bags" with your bags closed, as it could after a
/reload. It folds away as your bags key folds it, and a click on it opens your bags. - Nyari Journal: fixed the game blocking the free first bank tab after Nyari Journal had been open.
- Show on map and My path's map turns wait until a fight ends instead of making the game block an action.
- Nyari Forever UI: character setup opens once for your account instead of on every new character, and no longer disappears after a new character's intro. It keeps opening at login until you finish it or choose Not now. A new character starts on the profile you picked most recently.
- Type
/reloadafter updating. Live-game checks remain open.
1.1.0-beta.33
- Nyari Forever UI: a new Errors page on the Nyari Forever tab lists what went wrong in the Nyari parts over the last 30 days. Copy report gives the list as text to paste into your feedback, and
/nyari errorsopens the page. Catch all Lua errors, off by default, also lists errors that nothing caught. While it's on, the game may blame Nyari for an action it blocks, so turn it on only to track down a problem. - Nyari Journal: My journey has a map of a whole day. Pick a saved day, then drag the timeline, step from event to event or play the day back. The path fades ten minutes after you walked it, and flights, boats, hearthstones and portals move or fade along their route.
- My journey can show the diaries, entries and day maps of your other characters. Choose one under Character in the header's filter button.
- My journey records more moments: guilds you join and leave, skills you learn, items you make, resurrections, battlegrounds, boss attempts, dungeon and raid clears, PvP ranks, rare kills and tamed beasts. Each kind has its own switch under My journey > Events.
- On hardcore realms your death reads "Died for good" with what killed you, and a duel to the death gets its own line. Statistics > Activity opens with a Hardcore section.
- Entry maps use dark-ink symbols for quests, travel, battles, milestones and notes, with their own marks for portals, hearthstones, flights and boats.
- My path records a portal, summon, hearthstone or spirit release only after a real change of place. Walking across a nearby zone border no longer counts as a trip.
- People can include the game's Recent Allies, with a filter and dated activity on each person's page. The game loads that list when you open Recent Allies in its Friends window.
- Remember this saves a private memory on a person's page and in My journey. Edit labels adds your own searchable labels, such as Blacksmith, which player tooltips can show.
- Journal pages keep an even margin. The tabs now run My journey, People, Quests, Dungeons, Raids, Bestiary, Collections and Statistics, and day headings name the weekday, as in Tuesday, October 6.
- Nyari Panels: Make room when looting, off by default on the Bags page, opens a window when a looted item won't fit. It offers the four cheapest items in your bags, and a click deletes one so the loot fits. Make room for quest rewards does the same when a quest reward won't fit, and
/nb roomopens the window any time. With Nyari Prices, it values items at their recorded auction price. - Nyari UI: a new Loot page, off by default, turns the game's own quest sparkles on or off. Focused sparkles can mark the nearest quest object, herb, ore vein, chest or book as you walk up to it.
- Training lists each rank of a spell once, at its own level and price, with its rank number.
- Swing timers show your weapon speed between swings, and the Main Hand timer names Heroic Strike, Cleave, Maul or Raptor Strike while it waits for your next swing. Both are on by default under Cast bars > Swing timers, with Hide until attacking as a new choice, off by default.
- Helpers > Death adds Auto release spirit and Auto accept Spirit Healer resurrection. Auto accept picks Return me to life when you speak to the healer, then confirms it. Each is off by default, has its own level cutoff and skips when you hold Shift.
- Same game options on every character also keeps which action bars are shown with your Edit Mode layout. It now shares Advanced Options, Ping System, Subtitles, Audio Assist and gamepad camera speeds too.
- Timed quests keep their countdown while ready to turn in, such as Grace of An'she and Mu'sha.
- Fixed an error from the health and mana text when you opened or closed the Character window, with C or when a weightstone opened it.
- Nyari Plates no longer adds its own spell names and interrupt shields to enemy cast bars, because WoW Forever draws both. Their settings are gone.
- Type
/reloadafter updating. Live-game checks remain open.
1.1.0-beta.32
- Nyari UI: Timed quests show a countdown below their objectives in Nyari's quest list. It keeps counting during combat and stops when the timer ends or the quest is no longer shown.
- Nyari UI: Nyari's quest list stays hidden while Questie's tracker is enabled. Turn off Questie's tracker to use Nyari's list with your saved settings.
- Nyari UI: Fixed a Lua error when opening Professions for the first time after login or
/reload, before its recipe list was ready. - Type
/reloadafter updating. Live-game checks remain open.
1.1.0-beta.31
- Nyari Journal: Collections and Bestiary lists put favorites first where available, then acquired or found entries, then unfinished or undiscovered entries.
- Bestiary maps show translucent sighting areas with soft blue edges. Nearby sightings merge into one area. These show approximate encounter locations.
- Hunter pets no longer count toward collection completion. Browse Pet families in the Bestiary, with past tames labeled Tamed before. Recorded tames and pet-training progress are kept.
- Nyari Journal: Quests groups the reference catalog by continent, zone and category, with completion counts, painted covers and known prerequisites. Optional quest map marks start off under Journal > Quests.
- My journey opens an entry's map on its own page. Replay starts at the entry's time and uses the same surrounding path as the map. Older paths keep the stretches that cross the time window.
- One More Pull adds a solo dice dungeon. Open it with
/nj pullor the Campfire dice button. Keep dice, reroll and bank loot, or risk another room. Interrupted runs and personal bests stay with this character. - Campfire dice tooltips and loot previews stay current. Fireside Dice matches full character names and allows one roll per round. Expired rounds and duels no longer send invitations after combat.
- Journal section cards show progress counts and percentages. Collection pages use parchment navigation links, and unlearning a profession clears its learned collection entries.
- Nyari UI: Map > Gathering icons adds painted herbs and mineral veins, off by default, with adjustable size. Icons follow movement and zoom and work in combat when the minimap is unprotected. Nodes above your gathering skill use red icons with question marks.
- Nyari UI: Tooltip > Items adds Equip effects as stats, off by default. Plain English Equip effects become stat lines; other effects keep the game's text.
- Nyari UI: Graphics settings adds individual shadow, water, particle, bloom and world-detail choices, plus high-resolution texture preloading. Your existing values stay unchanged until you choose another.
- Fixed the addon button drawer treating Questie's map markers as addon buttons and leaving spaces for hidden buttons.
- The settings sidebar has a copyable link for feedback and release notes.
- Type
/reloadafter updating. Live-game checks remain open.
1.1.0-beta.30

- Profession lists load a rank only when you open it and keep your place as sections expand, recipes arrive and the list refreshes.
- Nyari Journal: Collections adds Forever reference lists for recipes, recipe items, books, mounts and companions. The Bestiary includes rare creatures and tameable beasts. Your character's progress stays separate from the reference lists.
- The Journal has painted section cards, instance banners and boss illustrations. Back goes up one level, section tabs open at the top, and its large lists are released when you close it. Hover animation can be turned off under Journal > Animation.
- Nyari Journal: optional pop-ups announce new discoveries and milestones. Off by default; turn them on in Character setup or under General > Pop-ups. Statistics > Activity adds duels, reputation, distance travelled and death causes.
- Nyari Chat: Up and Down recall the last 32 lines sent by each character, including after a reload or relog. Down returns to your draft after the newest line.
- Nyari UI: Game settings adds screenshot controls, a loading-screen frame rate cap, world detail and ambient shadow choices. Graphics > HDR adds output and brightness controls. These keep your current game values until changed.

1.1.0-beta.17
- Fixed a game error players saw after leveling up, changing specialization or leaving Edit Mode ("Auras cannot be accessed when secret while tainted by 'NyariUI'"): Nyari UI no longer hooks the game's Edit Mode manager or objective tracker. Not checked in game.
- New in Nyari Chat: friends who use it see each other's moments, a kind line in chat for a death in the open world, a dungeon or raid cleared, an epic find, a new mount, an achievement and profession milestones (Messages > Friends, each with its own switch). Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal: dungeon quests show the quest chain that leads to them, and the dungeon quests and loot were checked again against WoW Forever (26 quests and 251 items added, chain steps that are not dungeon quests removed, rewards and experience updated). Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal: boat and zeppelin trips show on the right map with a boat or zeppelin icon, and as a treasure-map route when both ends are on the map; the Campfire window no longer opens away from a camp. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: friends in your party or raid no longer get a Nyari dot on the world map. Not checked in game.
- Restart the game once after updating: this release adds a file.
- Fixed the taint behind "Auras cannot be accessed when secret while tainted by 'NyariUI'" in Edit Mode's layout update once more: the core no longer hooks the game's Edit Mode manager (SelectSystem, ClearSelectedSystem). NyariCore.EditMode.OnGameChange now tells a part when the game's selected Edit Mode frame or its changed flag turns different, found by a look ten times a second while Edit Mode is open, and the Nyari element dialogs and the companion settings under the game's dialog follow the game that way. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.16
- New in Nyari Journal: Statistics, a fifth home-page section in the journal's own look, with Gold (where your gold came from and went, Today, This week or All, recorded by Nyari Panels), Activity (lifetime counts that never shrink), PvP and Characters.
/njournal statistics, a key binding, the My journey Statistics button and/nb statsopen it. Not checked in game. - New in Nyari Journal: PvP, kills from the game's honorable kill lines and who killed you from the death recap, with your nemesis, favourite victim and rivalries, shown on Statistics, People and My path's death skulls. Private, never shared. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal: Campfire recognises WoW Forever's camp (the Welcoming Campfire buff and the Basic, Journeyman and Expert Campfires), opens when you sit at a fire even alone, closes when you leave it, has a sleeker window, and adds emote buttons, Fireside Dice and Sword, Shield, Spell with animations. People remembers who you shared a fire with. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal: My path shows the last 5 minutes by default, gets a My path button on the world map, marks where you died, and is never deleted any more, only simplified, unless you choose Forget my path. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal: the journal reopens on the page you left (its minimap, menu bar and addon menu buttons open the home page), other Nyari parts can open its pages, the settings are split into pages, and People notes show on the game's tooltips. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels: the Bags tab opens your bags with one click through the game's own backpack button, no longer catches the mouse over hidden bag titles at a merchant, and Panels records where your gold comes from and goes. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: the friends list icons sit centered and the pin opens the world map on that friend; friends' map dots have a right-click menu (Whisper, Invite to group, Show in People, Hide on the map); the Training tab follows WoW Forever's own trainer data (Tiger's Fury and other talent-granted spells removed). Not checked in game.
- Restart the game once after updating: this release adds files.
- Tab windows in combat: a window holding the game's open bags (protected slot buttons) no longer refuses every tab change in a fight. Its tabs switch, Hide tab goes back to the tab before it, and a hidden pane brought up with the window shown opens; only the protected bags body waits to be put away until combat ends. Folding or unfolding such a window still waits. Not checked in game.
- After an update that adds files, a /reload no longer lays out the tab windows half way (tabs overlapping, the meters drawn over Tracking, the Bags tab out of place) or risks saving that layout: the windows wait until the game is restarted, as the restart message asks. Not checked in game.
- The tab docking marker (the thin line showing where a dragged tab will dock) no longer stays on screen after docking: every way a drag ends, and the start of the next one, puts away the marker and the ghost tab in one place, and the chat tab windows' marker is no longer drawn again by a tab update that runs on after the drop or once a fight begins. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.15
- Nyari UI: Friends on the map now shares your position with your friends by default (not your guild), says so once in chat, and shows a small note on the world map while it does; turn it off in Map > World map. The game's friends list marks friends who use Nyari and those sharing their position, and "Let friends see I use Nyari" can turn that off. Restart the game once after updating. Not checked in game.
- New in Nyari Journal: People, the home page's fourth button, a list of the players you have met, for this character only. It keeps how often and how long you grouped, the places, dungeon clears and bosses you shared, friends, Battle.net friends and guildmates, campfires, trades, duels, your whispers from Nyari Chat's Messages tab and friends' level-ups, with a search, a filter (Everyone, Friends, Guild, Grouped 3+ times, Rated Good, Rated Avoid), four sorts and a detail view with a timeline that has Show on map and Replay from here, your note and the actions Whisper, Invite, Add friend and Forget this person. Rate people Good or Avoid with quick tags (private; a muted check or cross on their row); a quiet chat line reminds you when a player you rated Avoid joins your group or invites you, and your rating shows on their tooltip. Nothing on this page is ever sent, shared at a campfire or exported. Settings: Remember people I group with, Also remember trades and duels, Rate the people I group with, Remind me about players I rated Avoid, Show my ratings on tooltips, Forget everyone (all on by default);
/njournal peopleopens the page. Restart the game once after updating, since this adds files. Not checked in game. - New in Nyari Chat: it tells Nyari Journal's People page, when both are loaded, how many whisper lines the Messages tab keeps with a player and when the last was, and which friends' level-ups it showed. It only reads; nothing is changed or sent. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.14
- Nyari UI: Friends on the map is much lighter in big guilds and long friends lists. It works out who sent a message from a list kept up to date by the game's own list changes, redraws the map at most four times a second and only for players who moved, and spaces messages to friends by how many there are. New: Show friends and Show guild, a Hidden players list in the settings, and a Don't share with list for friends who should never see you. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.13
New in Nyari UI, Map > World map > Friends on the map: Share my position (off by default) lets friends and guildmates who use Nyari UI see you on their world map, with Share with (Friends, Guild, Friends and guild), and Share my state and status line (on, once sharing is on) adding away, busy, in combat, dead, resting or on a flight and your Campfire status line from Nyari Journal. While you move a tiny message goes out at most every 10 seconds (your map, your place rounded to a few yards, level and class), once when you stop or change zone, every 30 seconds while you stand still, and only the instance's name inside an instance. Nothing goes out in a fight except one "in combat" notice, and turning sharing off or logging out tells them to remove you. Show friends and guild on the map (on by default) draws a dot in the class color for each player who shares, on their zone and on its continent, with a tooltip (name, level, zone, friend or guild, state, status line, how old) and a badge for their state, listing players inside an instance in the map's corner; Show names on the dots is off by default. Only friends and guildmates are read, never ignored players, right-click a dot or use /nui friendsmap hide to hide someone, and a dot goes after a minute without news. The minimap is not covered yet. Restart the game once after updating, since this adds files. Not checked in game.
Settings, export window and welcome in combat:
/nyari exportopens its window in a fight instead of asking you to try again later, and the welcome's Finish applies your choices at once instead of after the fight. The Preview button on a settings page is no longer greyed out in a fight; if a sample can't start then, it says so in chat. The Edit Mode button in the settings window gives way to an ordinary button in a fight that says Edit Mode opens after the fight (the game closes Edit Mode in combat). Elements placed through Edit Mode (undo, drag, resize, selection boxes) now move in a fight when nothing in them is protected; one holding secure buttons waits and says so once. The settings window, its pages, search, menus and Escape already worked in combat and now have tests. Not checked in game.New in Nyari Journal: Campfire, a small window of the Nyari players gathered at a fire you or your party light or where you rest, with their level, a status line and their latest journey tales (Campfire circle and Share my tales, both on by default; Join sound and Chat line off;
/njournal campfire). Who can join is a setting (anyone with Nyari nearby, friends and guild, or party only), players on your ignore list never join, and strangers are found on a hidden chat channel joined only while gathered. Restart the game once after updating, since this adds files. Not checked in game.New in the core: NyariCore.Notes(frame), a table of the addon's own for one game frame (kept weakly), so no part writes a flag onto the game's frames or tables. The tab windows' chat panes now keep their marks there. A test (tests/test_taint_rules.py) fails when a part writes a field onto a game frame or calls the game's bag, layout, Edit Mode or objective tracker code. Not checked in game.
New in Nyari Journal: My path, the way a character walked, drawn on the world map (Record my path and Show my path on the world map, both on by default;
/njournal path offturns them off). Restart the game once after updating, since this adds files. Not checked in game.New in Nyari Journal: trips (hearthstone, portals, flights, boats) as icons on the map, a replay that plays the path back across zones and days (
/njournal path replay), and more My journey lines (dungeons, collection, milestones, group and friend changes, logging in and out), each with its own switch and the social and milestone lines private. Restart the game once after updating, since this adds files. Not checked in game.New in Nyari Chat: friends who use it see each other's level-ups, one line in chat when a friend reaches a new level, and your new level and class are sent to your online friends (Messages > Friends, both on by default and easy to turn off). Restart the game once after updating, since this adds a file. Not checked in game.
The Nyari Forever button in the game menu (Esc) goes back under Options when the menu's first button reads differently, instead of after Return to Game. Not checked in game.
New in Nyari Chat: a Messages tab or window for whispers, with a list of the players you talk with and a box to reply in, kept for each character between sessions (Messages > Messages tab, off by default;
/nc messages). Tabs in the tab windows and chat tabs can now ask for attention: a new whisper makes the Messages tab glow. Not checked in game. The shared new-quest marker (used by Nyari UI and Nyari Journal) is now a small infinity in WoW Forever's own color instead of the green NEW word. Not checked in game.
Less work in a fight: the combat checks the tab windows and chat use now make three protected calls per frame and no table or closure of their own while they walk a big window's frames (a bag window holds a hundred item buttons); an error that repeats, or whose text keeps changing, is counted without a new entry and stack capture each time (at most ten stacks a second); and the upgrade arrows redraw once after a burst of talent or equipment events instead of once per event. Developer builds get
/nyari frames, listing the parts' running OnUpdate scripts, event registrations and how often each shared hook fired. Not checked in game.Tabs and windows in combat: tabs, folding, a window's lock, moving a window by its tab row, sizing it by its corner and putting its tabs in another order now work in a fight, in any window that holds none of the game's protected frames (the game's open bags are the one thing that do; that window waits for the fight to end and says so once in chat). Hide tab, Delete meter tab and a tab brought back or added in a fight take effect at once instead of after it, and a pane moved between a chat window and a window of its own the same. A tab dragged onto another window, the chat tabs or the open screen in a fight stays where it was and tells you it moves after combat. A chat tab's Lock window entry works in a fight (the game's own chat code has no combat check). Not checked in game.
New:
/nyari export(and/nf export) writes the quest givers, dungeon drops and Auction House prices that Nyari Journal and Nyari Prices recorded as one block of text to copy and paste on the Nyari data page. Nothing is sent by the game, and no character, player, guild or chat names are in the text. It stays off until you turn on Share data for Nyari under Modules > Data, or type/nyari export on;/nyari export statusshows how much there is. Needs one full restart of the game after updating. The page address is not set yet. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.12
- Nyari Rings: fixed a game error ("attempt to compare ... a secret number value") when a ring opened while one of its spells was cooling down in a fight. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.11
- Nyari UI: a Training tab on the spellbook, beside Spellbook at the bottom, lists what you can train now with the total cost and what comes at the next levels, in the spellbook's own look; the spellbook's search filters it, right-click ignores a spell, and costs switch to what your class trainer charges after a visit (Helpers > Spellbook > Training tab, on by default). Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: Gather addon buttons is on by default, and the drawer's button docks on the minimap's edge (bottom left on the round minimap, the bottom-left corner on a square one). Drag it any time to one of the spots around the minimap, or anywhere else; addon buttons can be dragged out of the drawer onto free spots on the edge. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal: My journey is kept between sessions again; it was being reset on every login. Not checked in game.
- New part, Nyari Rings: hold a key and a ring of your spells, items, mounts, toys and macros opens at the mouse pointer; let go over a slice to use it, also in combat. Its editor (
/nr edit) takes things dragged from the spellbook, bags, mount journal, toy box and macro window, and preset rings fill themselves from your character. Not checked in game. - Key bindings: the game's Key Bindings list has a Nyari Forever UI entry that opens or closes the shared settings window, like
/nyari. Nyari Chat, Nyari Panels and Nyari UI add one entry group each, and Nyari Journal already had one. Not checked in game. - Nyari Chat: the Forever panel behind Battle.net pop-ups shows only while the pop-up has text, so an empty Quick Join pop-up no longer leaves a blank bar beside the social button. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels: the Bags tab's slots no longer shift a little when your gold or items change, such as selling at a vendor. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels: pressing / while a pane's tab is in front opens the typing line on chat with the / in it again, instead of an empty line. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: the count of a quest objective now follows the name when the quest list is written from the left (Spotted Sunfish 0/10) and comes before it from the right (0/10 Spotted Sunfish). Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels: the game's played time is asked for once a session, not on every loading screen, and old history is thinned once a session. Tracking can forget a deleted or renamed character from the character menu (two clicks), stopping to follow an item asks for a second click, the TradeSkillMaster setting redraws an open Gold graph, thinned play and away time is drawn in the right place, and the XP page at the highest level says so. Meters save a fight that is followed at once by another, no longer file fights without a boss under the last boss, draw each tab's 30-second graph from its own measure, say so when you are not in the list, and ask for a second click on Reset meter. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels: the Bags tab has a small bag settings button right of the sort button, with a menu for Open containers button, Sell gray items at vendors and Repair at vendors (when Nyari UI is loaded) and More bag settings. Open containers button (off by default) adds a header button that opens the clams, sacks and crates in your bags one click at a time and shows how many are waiting. Not checked in game.
- New defaults for what most players want. Nyari UI: class colors, item level, quality border, target line and compact lines on tooltips, the detailed XP tooltip, the flight timer, quest level on the quest list, and the NEW marker for quests added in Forever (Show). Nyari Plates: elite, rare and quest markers, the cast bar shield and spell name. Nyari Chat: the copy chat button, Forever pop-ups and the gold seller, scam and flood filters. Nyari Panels: the Tracking and Bags tabs. Settings still at the old default are switched once, and a later choice is kept. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: the flight timer now comes with a time for every flight path, so the bar counts down and the flight map shows a time for routes you have never flown. The times are worked out from the game's own flight paths, added up for a trip with stops, and shown with a ~ before them until you fly the route yourself; your own times replace them. Routes the data doesn't cover still say Learning this route or unknown. Not checked in game.
- The side tabs of the settings window now always run Nyari UI, Chat, Panels, Plates, Prices, Journal, then Modules, whatever order the game loaded the parts in, and /nyari opens on Nyari UI first. Not checked in game.
- Settings moved so they are easier to find, in every Nyari part. Nyari Chat: General keeps Turn on Nyari Chat and Style, Time is under Appearance > Header, Channel buttons is a Channels page, Messages is grouped by kind of message, Alerts is now Highlights, and Filters and Tabs lost their Overview groups. Nyari UI: Map is Minimap, Buttons and Flight (Travel is now Flight), Mouse is now Cursor with Cursor ring, Casting and Cursor trail, Light and weather is now Atmosphere, Experience is one flat page, Data bars > Leveling is Experience, Gold, Location, Clock and Performance share a Data bars > Readouts subpage, Helpers is grouped as Vendors, Convenience, Pet sounds and Shards, and the Game settings extras are sections of Graphics. Nyari Plates: General, Threat, Nameplates and Game settings. Every page and subpage name is 14 characters or fewer. Nyari Panels: the Windows page is part of General, beside Bags, Tracking and Meters. Nyari Prices: Professions is part of Auctions. No setting changed its default. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: the quest list has fewer settings, and the Quest list choice is now called Nyari instead of Forever (the saved choice is unchanged). The quest settings now share one Quests page (it was Quest list): the groups are Quest list (what it shows, its order, its look, its frame, when it hides and the game's tracker settings), Quest helpers (the quest helpers that were under Helpers > Quests) and Quest windows. Removed: Status icons, Level and zone line, Line spacing, Border opacity, Padding, Inset, Zone heading style, Show divider line, Show collapse button, Larger zone names, Ready to turn in line, Check mark on ready line, Hide turn-in directions, Quest level style, Objective style, Progress layout, Objective progress bars, Progress bar height, Count on the bar, Tight spacing, Grows, Lock position, the list's own Edit Mode position, and the Sleek, Status icons and Default look buttons with
/nui questlist. The count of an objective now always sits at the edge the list is written from (0/10 Spotted Sunfish from the left, Spotted Sunfish 0/10 from the right), the Ready to turn in line is always shown, zone headings keep their divider line and collapse button, and spacing is Compact, Standard or Comfortable (a saved Tight becomes Compact). New Minimal look under Quests > Quest list > Look (also in the Edit Mode dialog, off by default) shows just text: no panel background or border, divider lines, collapse buttons or quest marks, and clicking a zone name still folds it; Background, Opacity, Border and Quest icons are dimmed while it is on and keep their values. The list now hangs from the top of the game's quest section, so it sits where the game's quests would and follows the game's tracker in Edit Mode and layout changes; its settings open under the game's tracker dialog in Edit Mode. Match screen side reads the game's tracker position. Old saved values of the removed settings are ignored. Not checked in game. - Nyari Panels: the Tracking tab's Gold page has a character picker and range buttons (1D, 1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, All) at the top, your total with its change in green or red ("+12,340 this month"), and a gold graph that starts at zero with short axis numbers ("858K") and month labels for long ranges. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Chat: spells learned or unlearned together (a trainer visit, a talent reset) come on one line with their clickable links and ranks, and a single learned line shows its rank (Messages > Abilities > Combine learned spells, on by default). Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels and Nyari Chat: click a tab to fold or open its window (the open tab folds it, a tab of a folded window opens it), and the Double-click to collapse settings are gone. Tracking and meter tabs get Hide tab on their menu, with
/nb showto bring them back, and meters get a Delete meter tab entry that asks for a second click. Not checked in game. - Tab windows: a window that loses its last tab keeps its place, lock and look for that tab's next window, so turning a tab off and on or moving it between chat and a window no longer forgets where it was. A tab's chat window closed by Reset Chat Windows or another addon is made again instead of counting as the player closing the tab, and with no free chat window a tab opens in a window of its own and says so once. Not checked in game.
- Tab windows (core): dragging the tab of a one-tab window moves the window and saves its place per Edit Mode layout, dropping it on a tab row or the chat tabs joins it; a locked window refuses tab drags in and out; a stuck tab drag ends when the button is up or the tab is gone; a folded window clamps and boxes only its tab row; hidden windows show their Edit Mode box; a window's shown state is no longer changed by the interface hiding (Alt-Z), and a pane's hidden callback is not run by it; a layout with no place of its own starts from the layout before, and nothing is saved under a layout name before it is known; tab rows keep room at the end to drag by; Lock window or Unlock window is in every pane tab's menu, for chat windows too. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.10
- The old folders Nyari Dungeons, Nyari Damage, Nyari Utilities, Nyari Console and Nyari Quests are gone. Their settings were carried over in 1.1.0-beta.8 and 1.1.0-beta.9. If any of them is still in your AddOns folder, close the game and delete it; the game says so at login while one is loaded.
- Fixed game errors ("attempt to call a nil value") from stacked hooks: the game's Edit Mode selection, new-window and typing-line hooks now share one wrapper each, and picking the tab behind a pane that takes the typing line happens a frame later. Not checked in game.
- Fixed two game errors ("attempt to call a nil value") from stacked hooks: the minimap calendar button's date and Nyari Chat's chat window messages. A new core helper, HookMethodOnce, gives each frame method a single hook shared by every part. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal: a My journey page keeps a diary of the quests this character accepts, finishes and abandons and the levels it reaches, with a search by title or zone and filters (All, Completed, Abandoned, In progress, Level-ups). Record my journey is on by default and Clear journey asks twice. Restart the game once after updating. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: optional party announcements of your quest progress (Helpers > Quests > Announce quest progress to party, off by default): objectives done, quest ready to turn in, and if you choose accepted, abandoned and quest-starting loot. Nothing is sent alone, in raids, battlegrounds, arenas or fights. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: item tooltips name the quests in your log that need the item in their difficulty color, with your count in red to green on a line under each (Tooltip > Items > Quest item progress, on by default). Not checked in game.
- Nyari Plates: Tank colors now switch on reliably for tanks. The role you were assigned wins, then your spec, and a Defensive Stance, Bear Form or Righteous Fury counts as tank when the game's spec answer says damage or gives none, also when you tank solo. Tank mode set by hand still wins, and /nplates status and /nplates debug show what decided. Not checked in game.
- Numbers no longer show long decimals (like 33.333333); they are rounded. Not checked in game.
- New /nyari perf: prints what the game's addon profiler says each loaded Nyari part costs a frame, as a recent average and the worst frame in milliseconds, largest first. It needs the game's addon profiler turned on and reads nothing until you type it. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: less work in a fight. The experience bar sends its sparks once when a fight ends and moves them thirty times a second at most, the quest list redraws at most twice a second in a fight and only when it changed, data bar pieces and the cursor ring do less per frame, and /nui perf shows what runs on every frame. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Plates: health text on nameplates is redrawn together up to ten times a second, and cast bar names and quest markers do less in a fight. Not checked in game.
- Meters: bars and texts are sent to the game only when they changed, and the game's meter events are not listened to in a fight. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal: dungeon quests are learned from the quest log after a fight, not during it. Not checked in game.
- Right-click menus are sorted by the kind of tab. A chat tab keeps the game's own entries, then Nyari Chat's chat-only ones (Only messages with highlight words), then a Window section (Tab row, Window settings, Minimize). A meter, Tracking or Bags tab has its own section first (a meter has Measure, Layout, Meter view, New meter tab, Settings... and Close this meter tab; Hide panel shows only when another tab is there to return to), then the Window section, and no chat entries. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: the Forever quest list is set up in place in Edit Mode (live settings, Sleek and Default look buttons, More settings) and has a right-click quick menu on its margin. New Style settings: Inset (flush), progress bars with a height and an optional count on the bar, shortened long quest names, larger zone names and a check mark on the ready line. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Forever UI core: an element's Edit Mode dialog can list its settings by key (a dropdown for a choice, a check box for a toggle, a slider for a range), changes go through the element's own setter, rows follow changes made elsewhere, a long list scrolls after eight rows and an element can add its own buttons. Not checked in game.
- Meters: customize a meter in place, in Edit Mode. When a tab window's front tab is a meter, its Edit Mode dialog also lists that meter's settings: Layout, Measure (or a row for each section of a split tab), Meter view, Numbers, Fight shown, Other players and Bar height, with New meter tab and Reset meter buttons and More settings, which opens the Meters page. The rows follow the tab in front and the settings page. The meter tab's right-click menu gains Meter view (Everyone, My place, Just me) and Settings.... Not checked in game.
- Nyari Forever UI core: a pane can add rows and buttons to its tab window's Edit Mode dialog (
editSettingswhen it registers), so the dialog follows the tab in front; the meter tabs use it for their settings. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.9
- Nyari Journal: the Map tab zooms (mouse wheel) and pans (drag), with a reset button; The Hall of Thanes and the Ruins of Lordaeron get painted parchment maps in the style of the game's own dungeon maps; boss portraits are still 2D pictures instead of live models, lighter on the frame rate; bosses with no portrait show a skull on the map. Fixed "Couldn't open Interface/AddOns/NyariDungeons/Bindings.xml" after a /reload right after updating. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels: meters show a normal damage meter (everyone, names, totals and per second), also for settings carried over from the first meters; a meter tab can be split into two or four parts, each showing its own number. The Bags tab no longer shifts when you sell. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: Pet sounds now covers all of the succubus's models and voice lines and Seduction's sound; /nui petsounds shows what is muted. Only the Nyari experience bar shows when you choose it, also after a /reload. The Nyari Forever button stays in the game menu (Esc) in combat, at its end. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: Tooltip page (off by default): place the game's tooltips at the cursor or at a fixed spot in Edit Mode, hide them in combat with a key to show them anyway, clean up unit tooltips (guild, realm, PvP and faction, level and health bar lines, health text, class-colored names, border by reaction or class, the target's target, the guild rank), color item borders by quality and show item level and IDs, and change the look (Dark or Forever background, thin gold or no border, size 70% to 150%, text size, health bar). Not checked in game
- Nyari UI: Quest list > Style: the Forever quest list can now be written from the right edge (Text alignment: Left, Right or Match screen side), with the fold buttons, quest marks and item buttons on the other side, the objectives inset from the right and the count column, tags and item buttons on the left. Zone headings can have a Thin divider, a thin gold line from the zone name to the edge, and the collapse button and the line can each be hidden (clicking the name still folds the zone). Quest names can stay one gold with the level as a small tag in its difficulty color. Progress layout can put every count in a Count column so the numbers line up, and Objective progress bars draw a very thin bar under each counting objective in the game's status bar art. Finished objectives can be shown with a gray check mark, and Spacing is Compact, Standard or Comfortable. Every choice starts at the look the list had, so nothing changes until you pick one, and each has a /nui command (
/nui questlistalign right). Not checked in game. - Nyari UI: Comprehension tab (Helpers > Professions, mages only, off by default): adds a Comprehension tab to the Professions window, under the game's own profession tabs, laid out like one of its profession pages. It has your Comprehension skill bar, a list of every untranslated scroll grouped by the skill it takes (search, and a Filter button with Can read now and Have in bags), and a pane for the scroll you pick: its icon, name, required skill (red when yours is too low), description and how many you have. The Comprehend button reads the picked scroll, one for each click, so clicking it again and again works through the pile; until you pick one it reads the scroll with the highest skill requirement you can read, and never one that needs more skill than you have. The game only reads a scroll for a real click, so nothing is read on its own, and the button is set up out of combat. Other classes get nothing: no tab is made and nothing listens. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI and Nyari Panels: the Gold tooltip's per-hour figure waits for 15 minutes of play and is marked as an estimate, the session says when it began and cannot start from a wrong login reading; Tracking's Gold page no longer shows a newly recorded character's gold as a gain. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: Flight timer (Travel, off by default): while you ride a flight path, a slim bar in the game's experience bar style shows where you are going and the time left, filling as you go, and goes away when you land. The first time you fly a route it says Learning this route and counts up; the time is remembered (the average of your last three flights of that route, for all characters) and used from then on. Flights cut short by a reload, logout, disconnect, early landing or a freeze are not learned. Place it in Edit Mode, with a spot per layout. Show flight times on the flight map adds a Flight time line to each destination's tooltip, and Forget them clears what was learned. Nothing runs while it is off. Not checked in game.
- Frame rate audit: Nyari UI's cursor ring and trail stop walking hundreds of idle dots every frame (about 17,000 game calls a second at rest, now nearly none), the hold that keeps a game frame see-through skips reading a frame whose alpha is already right, and the menu bar and XP bar hooks do their work once per frame instead of once per call. Nyari Chat no longer runs its window-fading code for every combat log message. Nyari Panels' Meters read and redraw nothing while no meter tab is showing and place their rows once. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.8
- Nyari Journal: a spellbook-style search row with one filter button (level, visited, quests for me on a list; usable and upgrades on loot). Opening a dungeon shows its bosses with portraits, defeated marks and item counts; loot can be shown for all bosses or one. Every dungeon shows a level range (Blizzard's where announced, else Mobalytics'), its zone, and a map pin button that sets a map pin and a TomTom waypoint at the entrance. Quests show where they start and how they end, with rewards for many and map pins for 161 quest givers. Boss pins sit on the maps, including new maps for The Hall of Thanes and the Ruins of Lordaeron drawn from the game's own minimap; bosses without a portrait show their own model. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: Helpers > Pet sounds can mute chosen warlock demons and hunter pet kinds (off by default). It silences that kind's sounds everywhere, not just your pet. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: only the Nyari experience bar shows when you choose it, also after a /reload; the game's bar no longer comes back. Nyari Chat and Nyari Panels: tabs no longer stretch for a moment when clicked. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: the parts of the game's screen it hides or changes (the quest list's tracker section, the minimap's zone header and round frame art, the menu bar's size, the raid frames' clamping) now stay applied when the game sets them again by itself, after a /reload, an Edit Mode layout or a fight. Nyari Plates keeps the room it makes on the game's nameplates the same way. Not checked in game.
- Nyari UI: Level-up celebration (Experience > Experience bar > Animation, off by default): when you level up, the Nyari bar fills to the end, flashes gold with a wide glow, swells, shines across twice and sends gold sparks rising while your new level pops up above it, then the fill restarts from empty and eases up to your new XP. It lasts about three seconds, plays no sound and uses the game's own star and flat textures. Several levels at once play it once. Needs Animation set to Smooth. Not checked in game.
- The small Nyari Threat entry is gone from the AddOns list: it only moved your settings when Nyari Threat became Nyari Plates and has been there for two releases. If you update from before 1.1.0-beta.6, Nyari Plates starts with its default settings. Not checked in game.
- The small entries that only move old settings (Nyari Damage, Nyari Dungeons, Nyari Utilities, Nyari Console and Nyari Quests) now go two releases after they appear, and the repository check fails when one stays longer. Not checked in game.
- Moving settings from those small entries now also works when an entry was turned off the first time and turned on later: it fills in what you haven't changed yet, and never overwrites a choice you made. Once moved, the old saved data is cut down to a marker so it doesn't take space twice (Nyari Dungeons' recorded quests, bosses and loot most of all). A version from before the move then finds those old settings empty. Not checked in game.
- Saved history now stays bounded: Nyari Prices checks and caps every market when the game starts, Nyari Panels' Tracking and Meters check what they saved and keep a limited amount. Characters you haven't played in a while keep their gold and items in the totals. Not checked in game.
- After an update that added files, /reload isn't enough, and Nyari Panels, Nyari UI and Nyari Plates now say to restart the game and stay quiet until you do, instead of showing errors. Not checked in game.
- Every Nyari part and Nyari Forever UI now sit under one "Nyari Forever UI" category in the AddOns list. Not checked in game.
- Hovering the entry's entry in the minimap's addon menu now shows a tooltip with its name and what a click does. Not checked in game.
- A command that fails (for example /nu, /nb, /nc, /nj, /nt, /np or /nyari) now says once in chat that it didn't finish and is listed in the part's status, instead of showing a Lua error box. Not checked in game.
- The quests marked NEW as new in Forever now come from one shared list in Nyari Forever UI, instead of a copy in both Nyari UI and Nyari Journal. Nothing changes on screen. Not checked in game.
- The CI checks now also run luacheck, and a warning from it fails the build. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Journal no longer builds its researched dungeon, boss, loot and quest tables when you log in. They are built the first time you open the journal, search it or the recorder needs a boss name, which leaves about 0.9 MB of memory free and a little login time until then. Not checked in game.
- Behind the scenes, the parts now hook each of the game's chat window functions once between them instead of once each, and Nyari Chat no longer replaces the game's tab selection function or writes its selection variable. Not checked in game.
- A part that fails while it starts now says once in chat that it didn't finish loading, instead of showing a Lua error box; its status lists the last few different errors. Not checked in game.
- A short command such as /nt, /nb or /nc is no longer taken from another addon (or the game) that already uses it; the longer commands stay. Not checked in game.
- The Nyari Forever button in the game menu (Esc) is not added while you are in combat, and the menu's own buttons are left as the game built them; if the menu is still open when the fight ends, the button appears then. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Damage is now the Meters tab of Nyari Panels, to keep the suite to fewer parts. Turn it on under Nyari Panels > Meters tab (off by default); the meter tabs keep their windows, docking and places. Your Nyari Damage settings, meter tabs, saved fights and window layout carry over the first time Nyari Panels starts, and Meters starts off if Nyari Damage was off. Restart the game once after updating. The small Nyari Damage entry left in the AddOns list only hands the settings over; turn it off afterwards.
/ndand/ndamagestill work. Not checked in game. - Nyari Dungeons is now Nyari Journal, because it will hold more than dungeons later. It opens on a home page with large Dungeons and Raids choices; a back arrow and the window title show where you are. Your settings and discoveries move over once, through the small Nyari Dungeons entry. Restart the game once after updating. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Utilities, Nyari Console and Nyari Quests are now part of Nyari UI, to keep the suite to fewer parts. Their features sit on its new Helpers, Quest list and Game settings pages, still off until you turn them on. Your settings carry over the first time Nyari UI starts, and /ny, /nq and /ncon still work. Restart the game once after updating so the game loads the small entries that move your settings, then turn those entries off in the AddOns list. Not checked in game.
- Every Nyari part now shares one copy of the shared code (NyariCore), kept in the Nyari Forever UI folder, instead of carrying its own. Nothing changes on screen, and the parts start from one place. Restart the game once after updating, so the game reads the new add-on lists. Not checked in game.
- Turning off Nyari Forever UI in the AddOns list now turns off every Nyari part with it, because the parts need it to load. The small entries that only move old settings (Nyari Threat, Nyari Damage, Nyari Dungeons, Nyari Utilities, Nyari Console and Nyari Quests) still load without it. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.7
- Nyari Dungeons' maps pin the bosses where they stand (186 bosses in 21 instances): hover a pin for the boss, click it for its loot. An opened quest shows how it starts, the turn-in, level, what comes first and its rewards (items for 190 quests, experience and money where WoW Forever's numbers are known), and Show on map can set a map pin, a TomTom waypoint when TomTom is installed, or light the boss that drops a quest's starting item. Done quests are grayed out and the home cards' Visited mark is this character's own. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Prices: holding Shift over a stack turns Sell each and AH each into Sell stack and AH stack on the same lines, the "AH checked" line is off by default, prices count as old after 7 days (your choice of 1 to 14), and the game's own Sell Price line can be hidden. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Quests no longer taints the objective tracker (the error some saw on leveling up) and no longer draws the tracker's header and frame over the Nyari quest list. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels: a Live range on Tracking's FPS page times every frame of the last minute and names the addons behind a long frame, the XP page shows only your current character, and the graphs no longer fill solid after a display change such as vsync. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Dungeons' Loot page lists what each boss drops from researched facts (1,806 items for 249 bosses in 30 dungeons and raids), says which items come only from the Classic drop lists or only from one reference, and ends each boss list with the instance's trash and shared drops. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Dungeons' Quests page lists every dungeon and raid quest from researched facts (401 quests in 30 instances) for your faction, with who gives it and where, what starts it, what comes first and the level it needs, and new Discovery settings let you keep instances, bosses, loot, quests, and maps and models hidden until you discover them. Mark quests new in Forever, in Nyari Dungeons and Nyari Quests, now offers Show, Show once discovered and Hide. Not checked in game.
- Window settings are per window: on Nyari Panels' Windows page, pick All windows (defaults) or one window, such as "Tracking, Bags", "Damage" or "Chat: General", and give it its own frame, background, padding, fading and tabs, with everything else following All windows. Right-click a tab and choose Window settings to open the page on that window. Your current settings are the new defaults. Restart the game once after updating. Not checked in game.
- Window looks for every Nyari tab window and Nyari Chat's chat windows, on Nyari Panels' Windows page (until now Tab rows): frame (full, tab side only or none) in the Forever, thin gold or tooltip style, background (Forever dark, tooltip, dialog, parchment or none), their opacities, inner padding, fading when not in use like the game's chat, unselected tab opacity and tabs shown only on hover. The defaults keep today's look, and Nyari Chat's old window background settings carry over. Restart the game once after updating. Not checked in game.
- The Nyari parts no longer add pages to the game's Options, under AddOns. Open the Nyari window with the Nyari Forever button in the game menu, /nyari, each part's own command or the minimap's addon menu. Restart the game once after updating. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.6
- Every Nyari dropdown and right-click menu is now Nyari's own, drawn like the game's menus. Opening the game's menus from some addon buttons crashed the WoW Forever beta client (build 70170), as Nyari Dungeons' All slots filter and Nyari Panels' Tracking range menu did. Menus close with Escape, a click elsewhere or when what opened them hides. Restart the game once after updating; a /reload doesn't load the new shared file. Not checked in game.
- A welcome tour opens once after your first login, a few seconds after the loading screen and not in combat. It lets you choose which Nyari parts to use and turn on each part's main options, with your current choices already picked, and offers Reload now when a part was turned on or off. Open it again any time with /nyari welcome or the Welcome tour button on the Modules tab. Not checked in game.
- The shared code no longer bundles a font; the Nyari window and everything it adds use the game's own fonts. Restart the game once after updating. Not checked in game.
- After an update that adds files, a /reload isn't enough: the game reads each addon's file list only when it starts. Nyari Forever now says so in chat at login when part of its shared code is missing, instead of failing with errors. Exit and restart the game once after updating.
- The parts share more of their code: hidden-value checks, chat messages, error counts and reading typed settings now come from the shared core, and the tab windows' code is split into smaller files. Restart the game once after updating; a /reload doesn't load the new shared files. Not checked in game.
- The addon tabs down the side of the Nyari window shrink to fit when there are more than the window's height holds, so every part's tab stays beside the window. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Dungeons is new: a dungeon and raid journal laid out like the game's Adventure Guide, with Blizzard's own dungeon art and boss portraits, every boss from the game's own data, classic dungeon maps, boss models where the game names the creature, and loot that it learns as you and your group play. It has search, loot filters and upgrade arrows, and opens with /nj, a key binding, or optional minimap and menu bar buttons. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Chat: optional channel buttons, chat tabs that show only messages with your highlight words, adjustable message and window backgrounds, far less temporary memory per chat line, and its text in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Korean and Chinese (draft translations). Not checked in game.
- Tab windows (Nyari Panels' Tracking and Bags, Nyari Damage's meters) are placed in Edit Mode, and each Edit Mode layout keeps their place and size. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Panels: Tracking has FPS and Latency pages for this session. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Quests is new: it can accept quests, turn them in and pick the reward worth the most, all off until you turn them on, and holding Shift pauses it. It also simplifies the quest windows.
- Nyari Utilities is new: it can repair your gear and sell junk at vendors, fill in the confirmation when you delete an item, and skip cutscenes. Each is off until you turn it on.
- Nyari Threat is now Nyari Plates. Your settings carry over the first time it runs, and /nt still works. A small Nyari Threat entry stays in the AddOns list to move them; turn it off once Nyari Plates has your settings. Nyari Plates adds options that are all off until you turn them on: a threat tint on the health bar, health percent, elite, rare and quest markers, a target tint, a cast bar shield and spell name, and the game's own nameplate options such as stacking, distance, size and class colors.
- Nyari Chat: the Forever window is always how chat is drawn, the typing line floats at the top of the window by default, new installs start with the Copy chat button, the spam and seller filters and the name sound all off, Restyle chat is now Turn on Nyari Chat, and the tab menu uses the same wording as the settings.
- Nyari Damage: Turn on Nyari Damage and Meter view are the new names, the Group settings moved into a Group section of the Meter page, and turned off it listens for nothing and saves no fights.
- Nyari Console: the on switch is Turn on Nyari Console and View distance joined World detail. /rl is claimed only while Console is on and not when another addon has it, and Console listens to the game only while on.
- Nyari UI: the Bars page is now Action bars, every bar (menu, bag, action, stance and pet) has Always, On hover or Hidden, and sizes and spacing show px.
- Nyari Prices: background updates are off for new installs, Compare crate bundles sits on General, saved prices are kept when the data format changes, and it listens to the auction house only while it is on.
- Nyari Panels: the Windows page is now Tab rows, and its settings set the tab rows of every Nyari tab window.
- Nyari Utilities: a new Shards page shows the realm number (the shard) in the friends list, on player tooltips, on group frames and after names in chat, and says when your own shard changes. Each is off until you turn it on. Not checked in game.
- Nyari Utilities: Dialogs and Cutscenes are one Interface page, with Cutscenes to skip and Selling method as the setting names.
- Nyari Quests: a quest list in the Forever look can replace the game's quest section, with quests grouped by zone. It grows down or up from where you place it, its frame and background can be changed, and quest item buttons on it can be clicked.
- Nyari Plates: Turn on Nyari Plates is the master switch, Show threat on nameplates switches only the threat features, and Game nameplates has its own Use these game settings switch.
- All parts: a setting typed after a slash command takes a choice's name as well as its key, and a typed number snaps to the slider's steps. Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.5
- Nyari Damage 0.3.0-beta.1: a full damage meter. Everyone lists the whole group with their place, spec icon, class color and numbers; My place and the new Just me view keep to you, without comparing. It measures damage, healing, absorbs, interrupts, dispels, damage taken, avoidable damage taken, deaths and enemy damage taken, for the current fight, overall or an earlier one, and a click on a player shows their spells. Each meter is a tab, and you can add one for each thing you follow. Recent fights are saved again; they were being written over at each login.
- The tab windows are now part of every Nyari addon: Nyari Panels' Tracking and Bags and Nyari Damage's meters share the same tabs and windows, dragged, docked, joined and folded the same way, with or without Nyari Panels. Restart the game once after updating; a /reload doesn't load the new shared file.
- Nyari Panels 0.1.0-beta.2: Tracking's items show one line per character, and the bags key can fold Bags' window.
- Nyari Chat 0.9.0-beta.3: a Set up the usual tabs action, message counts on folded tabs, docked tabs that keep their places, and the drag marker no longer left behind after docking a tab.
- Not checked in game beyond the meter tabs docking like Tracking and Bags.
1.1.0-beta.4
- Nyari Chat 0.9.0-beta.2: each group of tabs can have its own edge and resting place, with a Tab row entry on the tab's right-click menu; tab rows lay out and hold their size more steadily, including a fix for the lag a loop in the last beta could cause; a hidden whisper now says so in its tab; Tracking has a Levels tab and records gold more carefully; skill-ups merge for 30 seconds; the chat window can sit flush against the screen's sides.
- Nyari UI 0.2.0-beta.3: the game's XP bar settings sit with the experience bar's, the three XP readouts share a page, data bars can fade on hover, the map's coordinates sit further from the edge, and a character's gold is no longer saved as 0.
- Nyari Threat 0.6.0-beta.1: the name and cast bar make room for the threat bar on the game's own nameplates.
- Nyari Prices, Nyari Console and Nyari Damage 0.2.0-beta.1: the changes in their own changelogs.
- Nyari Panels 0.1.0-beta.1 is new: the Tracking and Bags tabs, moved out of Nyari Chat into an addon of their own, with their settings and history carried over.
- A Modules tab, after the parts' tabs in the Nyari window, lists every installed Nyari part, including ones that are off. Turn a part off or on for this character, then click Reload now; a part that is off isn't loaded, so it uses no memory or CPU, and its settings are kept.
/nyari modulesopens it. - Each part shows what it uses while it runs: its memory, and its share of CPU now and on average when the game's addon profiler is on, worked out the way the game's AddOns list does. A line at the bottom adds up all Nyari parts. The figures refresh every two seconds while the tab is open, and nothing is measured while it's closed.
- The window's title bar names the open part at the top left, beside its icon, instead of Nyari Forever in the middle.
- Not checked in game.
1.1.0-beta.3
- Nyari Chat 0.9.0-beta.1: Style is a dropdown that can no longer leave settings mixed, tab rows can go on the bottom or rest left, center or right, double-click a tab to collapse, folded windows are remembered for each character, whispers dragged out stay out after a reload, the chat window can sit flush against the screen's sides, and Battle.net pop-ups can wear the Forever look.
- Nyari UI 0.2.0-beta.2: each part of the experience bar has its own color, and an optional particle effect sends sparks into the bar when you gain XP.
- Both are untested in game for the new tab, color, particle and Battle.net features; use the beta tag as a test release.
1.1.0-beta.2
- Nyari Prices joins the suite download.
- The suite's folder is now
NyariForeverUI, and the AddOns list groups the parts under it. Delete the oldNyarenarifolder if an update leaves it behind. Type /nyariforeverui to open the settings; /nyari and /nf still work. - The parts are released only in this download now, not on their own.
1.1.0-beta.1
- The suite download includes Nyari Damage, Nyari Console and Nyari UI alongside Chat and Threat.
1.0.0
- First release: Nyari Chat and Nyari Threat in one download, grouped under Nyarenari in the AddOns list, with one settings window. Type /nyarenari to open it.
