NoMoreSpam hides messages containing your chosen words or phrases in the built-in Trade and Trade (Services) channels in World of Warcraft Retail.

Features

- Manage up to 128 words or phrases in a searchable settings window.

- Match parts of messages with Unicode case folding; mix words from different languages.

- Russian UI for Russian clients, English UI for all other client languages.

- See checked and hidden message counts for the current session and all time.

- View a playful estimate of time saved: two seconds per hidden message. This is an estimate, not measured time.

- Test text locally without sending anything to chat.

- Open settings with /nms or the draggable minimap icon. The icon can be hidden in settings.

Scope

Only Trade and Trade (Services) are filtered. General, whispers, guild, party and raid chat are unaffected. Players are not added to your ignore list, and no reports are sent. Rules match literal text, so broad keywords may hide ordinary conversations too.

Performance

No external libraries, background polling or message history. Chat filtering is event-driven. Settings widgets are reused.

Getting started

Type /nms to open settings, or /nms help for commands. A small starter list follows your UI language; customize it for your realm. Settings and all-time counters persist across sessions. Restoring the starter list explicitly replaces your words. Words in any language work with either UI language; displaying every script depends on the client font. Matching does not remove accents, transliterate or normalize NFC/NFD Unicode forms.

Compatibility

Designed for Retail 12.1. Classic is not supported. Custom chat addons that bypass Blizzard's message filters may behave differently.
