NodeWatch-0_5_0-ClassicEra-1_15_9.zip
What's new
0.5.0 — Your observations, front and center (includes all 0.4.0 changes — both versions ship together in this update)
This update is about one thing: when you open the map, what matters to you should be the first thing you see — not lost in a sea of dots.
=== NEW: Real resource icons ===
- Every node now shows its actual item icon on the map: Earthroot looks like Earthroot, Copper Veins show Copper Ore — all 47 resources. (Thanks to the user who suggested this!)
=== NEW: Two-layer map design ===
- Active observations are now the stars: bigger icons, bright status rings, always drawn on top. When a suggested revisit time arrives, the ring pulses red so it's impossible to miss.
- Preloaded locations recede into a smaller, dimmer background layer — still there for route planning, no longer stealing the show.
=== NEW: Focus mode ===
- /nw focus (or the "Only my observations" checkbox in the filter panel) hides all preloaded pins. Nothing on the map but your running timers.
=== NEW: Map-aware filter panel (0.4.0) ===
- The filter panel now lists only the herb and ore types that actually spawn on the map you're viewing — no more hunting through the full list to find what's relevant. (Also a user suggestion!)
- A "Show all resources" checkbox switches back to the complete list for configuring other maps.
- All / None buttons act only on the resources currently listed, so clearing filters for one zone never hides resources on other maps.
- The panel header shows which map it's scoped to, with per-column counts, and refreshes live as you flip between map pages.
=== NEW: Adjustable icon size ===
- /nw scale 0.5-2.0 — tune pin size to your liking.
=== IMPROVED ===
- Tooltips now lead with a clear status line — "Timer running" or "REVISIT SUGGESTED - check this node!" — no color-memorizing needed.
- Filter choices remain global: show/hide a resource once, it applies on every map it appears on.
Ring colors, for reference: gold = timer running, red (pulsing) = revisit suggested, green = has learned data, grey = regular node.
