Other addons show you WHERE nodes are. NodeWatch tells you WHEN they're worth revisiting.

NodeWatch Classic is a lightweight herb and mining respawn tracker for WoW Classic Era, updated and working with the July 22, 2026 patch (1.15.9). Gather a node, continue your route, and NodeWatch will suggest when it may be worth coming back — based on real observed respawn windows, not fake countdowns.

⭐ WHY NODEWATCH?

Most gathering addons stop at showing node locations. NodeWatch adds the missing half: respawn timing. It combines preloaded world-map locations, automatic gathering timers, per-resource map filters, multi-node tracking, and player-learned respawn estimates in one small addon with no dependencies.

Preloaded mining and herbalism locations are displayed directly on the Classic Era world map. Toggle mining and herb pins separately to plan routes without memorizing coordinates.

🔎 SHOW ONLY THE NODES YOU CARE ABOUT (NEW in 0.3.0)

Farming Rich Thorium and nothing else? Open the filter panel (Filters button or /nw filter) and choose exactly which herb and ore types appear on the map. Each resource has its own checkbox, with quick All / None buttons per profession. Active timers always stay visible, even for filtered-out types — a running observation never disappears on you.

⏱️ AUTOMATIC TIMERS AFTER GATHERING

Successfully collect a herb or ore — at any gathering skill rank — and NodeWatch will:

Identify the gathered resource and the nearest known node
Start or restart an independent timer for that location
Show a suggested respawn window
Alert you in chat and with a sound when it's time to consider a revisit

Toggle automatic tracking anytime with /nw auto.

📊 SMARTER OVER TIME — WITH YOUR DATA

NodeWatch starts with broad resource-based estimates. After two or more completed observations of the same resource type — automatic or manual — it refines suggestions using your own recorded windows.

Example: a node confirmed missing at 5 minutes and found at 12 minutes is recorded as a 5–12 minute observed window. NodeWatch never pretends to know the exact respawn second.

Every watched location runs its own timer. Watch several herb and ore spots while questing or farming — all observations and learned data are saved between sessions.

The observations panel (/nw) also has dedicated Missing / Found / Cancel buttons.

✅ HONEST ESTIMATES, NOT FAKE COUNTDOWNS

Classic Era respawns are affected by spawn pools, server population, layering, and competition. No addon can know the exact respawn time — so NodeWatch doesn't pretend to. It reports exactly what was observed: when a node was confirmed missing, and when it was confirmed back.

🚀 QUICK START

Gather any herb or ore as usual — a timer starts automatically.
Type /nw to view your active observations.
Use the Filters button to show only the resources you're farming.
When NodeWatch suggests a revisit, swing by the node.
Still empty? Mark it Missing and keep riding. Node's back? Mark it Found — NodeWatch learns from it.
