Noctis Guides Example Route Pack

A worked example route pack for Noctis Guides. Shows route authors how to write a Classic Era leveling route: every directive the engine supports, a filled-in provenance block, and how to publish one. Teaching material, not a route to level with.

What's new

MissionAccomplished 1.8.6

This corrective release is built from the public 1.8.5 suite baseline and adds a dedicated owl visual identity for Noctis Guides without changing SavedVariables schemas.

  • Adds an original owl-themed circular compass bezel and rotating feather arrow to Noctis Guides.
  • Gives every standalone module a shared safe-area layout, consistent custom close control, clipped content canvas, and in-frame scrollbar/control placement while preserving the established content dimensions.
  • Gives the separately published Noctis Guides Example Route Pack its own owl-guided route-map identity in the in-game addon list and on CurseForge, and includes a clean live-client screenshot set for every project.
  • Preserves the 1.8.5 guide engine, world-map and minimap pins, route trail, quest adapter, recorder, directive support, repaired Alliance and Horde 1-60 routes, and 75-route catalog.
  • Preserves all 94 distinct Spiritwalkers Path builds, including at least ten per class and dedicated Hardcore paths for every class.
  • Corrects Noctis public metrics to 11,651 navigation waypoints and states the limits of the generated-route provenance record accurately.
  • Corrects Spiritwalkers Path copy to disclose that Auto-assign is optional, off by default, and can spend only the selected plan's next eligible talent rank when enabled.
  • Uses the verified Classic Era 1.15.9 item, currency, tooltip, and talent API signatures in Mahler's Armory and Spiritwalkers Path, and reduces repeated group-unit allocation in Naglet's Toolkit.
  • Reflows Naglet's Toolkit and Spiritwalkers Path when they move between the standalone host and the narrower Suite content area, keeping buttons, dividers, talent trees, labels, and scrollable notes inside their panel.
  • Simplifies Gavrial's notification banner to one contextual icon and a consistently padded message area, including guide-pin, reset, and restore paths.
  • Keeps Bankert's One Bag badge, quick-launch row, controls, bank snapshot modal, watermark, and close control inside their frames.
  • Starting a Menagerie hunt now closes whichever database host is open, leaving only the class-specific tracker visible; Hunter and Warlock compasses retain distinct art and never invent a direction when coordinates are unavailable.
  • Expands the /mashot capture helper so every addon-owned top-level HUD and standalone window can be isolated for consistent live-client screenshots.
  • Adds the already-established Noctis Guides Example Route Pack project to the deterministic release and dependency checks.
  • Packages the complete license and notice material required by maintained and vendored code while excluding tests, development configuration, reports, credentials, unpublished route-import work, and unused migration code, and enforces CurseForge's 2 GB archive limit.

Compatibility: World of Warcraft Classic Era 1.15.9 (Interface 11509), Lua 5.1.
