Recruiting for your guild through the in-game Guild Finder? Stop opening the guild window every few minutes just to check whether anyone's applied. New Guild Applicants puts a small icon on your minimap that shows exactly how many players are currently waiting for an invite — at a glance, no clicking required.

When someone new applies, it plays a quick sound so you know even if you're not looking at the map. No spammy popups, no chat clutter, no nagging — just a quiet number that tells you when it's time to go welcome someone in.

Features

• Live applicant count on your minimap — see pending Guild Finder applications at a glance.
• Audio alert when the count goes up, so new applicants get your attention hands-free (toggleable, and it won't nag you on login).
• One click to your guild window — click the icon to open Guild & Communities, then head to the Guild Finder tab to review and accept.
• Stays out of your way — the icon only appears when you're resting in a city or inn and actually have invite permission. If you can't recruit, you'll never see it.
• Draggable — reposition the icon anywhere around your minimap ring.
• Lightweight and respectful — polling fully stops when it's not needed, and the addon never interferes with the guild window while you're using it (edit member notes freely).
• Configurable — toggle the sound, hide the icon, or adjust how often it checks (1–15 minutes).

How to use

Just install it. If you're a guild officer or recruiter, the icon appears on your minimap while you're resting. Left-click it to open your guild window and review applicants. Open settings anytime with /nga config or through ESC → Options → AddOns.

Requirements

• You need to be in a guild with the Invite permission (officer/GM, or any rank that can invite) for the count to show. The icon is hidden entirely for anyone who can't act on applicants.
• Retail World of Warcraft.

Good to know

• The count reflects Guild Finder applicants — people who applied through the in-game recruitment tool — not direct whisper/invite requests.
• The icon deliberately opens the guild window rather than auto-jumping to the applicant tab. This keeps the interface fully usable (so things like editing member notes always work).
