What's new

v12.1.6 — September 12, 2026

Options Panel — Display Refresh

Option checkboxes now refresh correctly when saved settings change. The addon icon has also been updated.

Find Addon Discovers More Profile Addons

The Find addon picker on the Swap Option tab no longer requires an AceDB-shaped saved variable. It now lists AceDB addons (including ones that have not written a profile yet),MiniAuras as its own swap type, other profile formats under Other profile addons with a best-guess path and a note to test the swap, and installed addons that are not currently loaded instead of omitting them. Each entry shows Title (SavedVariableGlobal) rather thana bare global name.

AceDB Profiles Switch Through the Addon's Own Profile System

Most profile addons use AceDB-3.0. Nem: UI Swap now finds those databases from the library itself, lists the addon's real profile names, and asks the library to switch. A profile namethe addon does not already have is refused instead of silently creating a blank profile.

Saved targets that already point at a profileKeys path are left as they are. At swap time, AceDB-owned databases go through the library; others still use the path write that already worked. EnhanceQoL uses the same key name without the library, so the check is made when you swap rather than by looking at the path.

Split Profile Pointers Are Filled In

Baganator, Chattynator, and Platynator keep the profile list in one saved variable and the active name in another. The picker now fills that path in instead of reporting that noactive-profile key was found.

MiniCC Is Now MiniAuras

MiniCC was rebranded to MiniAuras, and the old addon is only a settings bridge, so a MiniCCswap wrote a database nothing reads any more.

  • Saved MiniCC targets migrate to MiniAuras on load, keeping their PvE/PvP values, healer override, enabled state, and custom label. A label still set to "MiniCC" is renamed.
  • A hand-typed MiniAurasDB.ActiveProfile path migrates the same way, and writing that path directly is refused. MiniAuras keeps live settings at the top of its database and onlycopies them into a named profile on switch, so moving the pointer alone overwrites thedestination profile on the next save.
  • Zoom, countdown colour-by-time, and countdown colours now swap; the retired native-order flag no longer does.

MiniAuras has its own per-spec AutoSwitch. A rule there can override a UI Swap on login or spec change.

Safer Saved-Variable Paths

A path that starts with, ends with, or contains a doubled dot is refused instead of writing a junk field into another addon's saved variables. If the picker cannot find the active-profile key, it leaves the box empty and says so.
