Nameplate Switch — One-Click Clean View

Nameplate Switch is a lightweight clean-screen addon for players who want the world visible without nameplate clutter.

What it does

• Hides all Blizzard nameplates with one click.
• Remembers the setting separately for every character.
• Restores your previous nameplate settings when switched off.
• Provides a draggable minimap button with an obvious green ON or red OFF status.
• Securely clears the raid marker on your own character with a right-click, including during combat when Blizzard blocks automatic addon calls.

Controls

• Left-click minimap button: toggle clean-screen mode.
• Right-click minimap button: clear your character's raid marker.
• Drag: move the minimap button.

Slash commands: /nameplateswitch on and /nameplateswitch off.

Legacy aliases: /antiicon, /cleanplates and /noicon.

Notes

Nameplate Switch intentionally hides friendly players, friendly NPCs, vendors, enemies, and bosses while enabled. Blizzard's normal party and raid marker permissions still apply.

No libraries or other addons are required.
