Nameplate Spells 0.3.0
What's new
0.3.0
- Spell history is one icon beside the nameplate: the spell from the enemy's last global cooldown, shown for the length of that global cooldown with a sweep. The row of recent spells is a choice under Spell history.
- Spell history: Last global cooldown or Recent spells. Default Last global cooldown.
- Global cooldown sweep: a dark sweep over the icon for the length of the global cooldown. Default on.
- A spell off the global cooldown, such as Counterspell, leaves the icon as it is. Spells with a 1 second global cooldown, such as Sinister Strike, show for 1 second. A spell the game hides shows for 1.5 seconds.
- With Red cross, a stopped cast shows its icon with the cross for 1.5 seconds.
/nps testshows three sample spells, one per 1.5 seconds, with Last global cooldown.
0.2.3
- Enemy cooldowns also start from an enemy's buffs where the game shows them, such as Nature's Grasp, Barkskin, Evasion and Ice Block
/nps checkcounts the abilities whose buff the game never hides, the cooldowns started from buffs and the times the game hid enemy buffs- Chat line: "Enemy cooldowns: the game hides enemy buffs here."
0.2.2
- The cooldown row hangs above the aura row the nameplate reserves, so it no longer covers debuffs or the name at larger nameplate sizes
- A nameplate that comes back keeps counting down its cooldowns and plays a ready flash that fell due while it was away
- Every ability shows the abilities in use first, then the ready ones, so a used ability is not cut by Icons
- Plates set to Target only or Target and focus still records cooldowns on the other plates; they show when the plate becomes the target
- Abilities in the same category cool down together: Fire Ward and Frost Ward, Pummel and Shield Bash, Divine Protection and Divine Shield
- Pet casts (Spell Lock, Intimidation, Intercept) are left out
- No countdown work runs while no cooldown is running, including with Every ability
- Enemies whose timers have ended are forgotten
/nps checkcounts the abilities the game never hides and the abilities it sometimes hides apart, and counts the cooldown rows that waited for the end of combat- Chat lines: "Only uses the game shows are tracked." and "No ability is always shown."
- Options: checkboxes Show spell history and Show enemy cooldowns; Plates and Border are under a third section, Display

- Ready flash: the icon flashes once when the ability is ready
- Show: Used only, or Every ability of the enemy's class when the game shows the enemy's class
- Kinds: interrupts, defensives, crowd control, crowd control breaks, movement, offensive cooldowns

- Options page in two sections, Spell history and Enemy cooldowns
/nps checkcounts the abilities tracked and the abilities the game never hides;/nps clearforgets every timer;/nps testalso fills a cooldown row- Spell history and enemy cooldowns stay with their own enemy when the game reuses a nameplate; icons no longer appear beside the wrong enemy or vanish
- Both rows follow the nameplate size and style
- Slide also plays in combat where the nameplate allows it
- A channel is shown once, whichever order the game reports it in; a stopped cast is shown once
- The red cross is drawn with lines
- Spell history covers every nameplate, up to the 150th, and checks again when an enemy becomes attackable or friendly
