### 1.36.0 — Better summon detection in arenas & BGs
Quality-of-life improvements to how MyNamePlates recognises and categorises player-summoned units, especially in retail Midnight where the engine anonymises many summon nameplates.
- **Anonymised totems classified immediately.** Grounding, Capacitor, Psyfiend, Tremor, Static Field and similar summons now land in the correct "Totems" tab as soon as they spawn — you no longer have to target them once for the addon to notice.
- **Cast/channel-based totem detection.** A minion-shaped unit that's mid-cast is treated as a Capacitor-style totem; one that's mid-channel is treated as Psyfiend. Both route into their own tabs so scale, opacity, and highlight settings apply correctly the moment they appear.
- **Safer fallback for un-identifiable summons.** When the game anonymises every field on a plate (health, name, ID, creature type), MyNamePlates now defaults it to the Totems bucket instead of Minions. This matches what those plates almost always are in practice, and prevents "hide minion clutter" opacity settings from accidentally hiding real arena totems.
- **Expanded starter list of known summons.** Added display names and category assignments for roughly two dozen additional summons, including:
- Death Knight San'layn Riders of the Apocalypse (Mograine, Whitemane, Nazgrim, Trollbane, Raise Abomination)
- Warlock Diabolist / Hellcaller demons (Pit Lord, Mother of Chaos, Overfiend, Gloomhound, Doomguard variants, and older Legion demons)
- Shaman Spirit Wolf and Greater Storm Elemental
- Beast Mastery Hunter secondary pets (Fenryr, Hati, Bear Pack Leader, Blood Beast, Dark Hound, Dire Basilisk)
All existing classification paths (curated NPC list, auto-discovery, target/mouseover capture, per-NPC toggles) still run first — the new detection only fires when everything else comes up empty, so behaviour on plates you already have configured is unchanged.
