MtjChatBar 1.42 

  • Whispers: No AddMessage hook; no WHISPER* filters. Fixes secret-string errors (SetLastTellTarget) in M+ and with auto-whisper addons (e.g. MailLogger).
  • Channel shorten: Dropped pre-format arg4 edits (messages could vanish). Say/yell/channel use post-display shorten only (TransformMessages), with safe text checks.
  • Third-party whispers: Deferred shorten runs only for the triggering SAY/YELL/CHANNEL event; newest line must match; safeEqualText skips secret rows in history.
  • Stability: Filter + cache refresh on PLAYER_LOGIN; lighter timers (one After(0) per chat frame per frame).
  • Lockdown: No shortening while chat messaging is restricted.
