MoP Profession Guide helps players level their professions with step-by-step instructions, material tracking, and profession-specific leveling recommendations.

Whether you're leveling a crafting profession or gathering materials, the addon provides an in-game reference to help you plan your progression.

Mining: Gathering or Smelting

The Mining guide supports two leveling approaches.

Gathering Route

Follow recommended mining steps and gathering zones as your skill increases.

Smelting Route

Level Mining using smelting recipes where available, with gathering steps included when smelting alone cannot advance your skill.

Switch between the two routes directly from the addon interface.

How to Use

1. Install MoP Profession Guide through CurseForge.
2. Launch World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic.
3. Type /mpg to open the addon.
4. Select your profession.
5. Follow the displayed leveling instructions.

The guide updates as your profession skill changes.

Future Planned Updates

MoP Profession Guide is an ongoing project. The following features are planned for future releases and are not all available in the initial version.

Visual Gathering Routes

• Add visual farming routes for Mining, Herbalism, and Skinning.
• Display gathering routes directly on the world map.
• Add route markers and recommended farming paths.
• Expand gathering recommendations across different zones and skill ranges.

Expanded Material Tracking

• Track both raw materials and processed materials.
• Track cloth alongside crafted bolts of cloth for Tailoring.
• Track ore alongside smelted bars for Mining and other crafting professions.
• Track raw hides alongside cured hides for Leatherworking.
• Improve material calculations to account for materials produced during earlier leveling steps.
• Reduce duplicate material requirements when intermediate materials are reused.

Additional Profession Leveling Paths

• Expand support for professions with multiple leveling methods.
• Add support for the different Cooking paths introduced in Mists of Pandaria.
• Allow players to select their preferred profession leveling path.
• Improve material tracking to reflect the selected path.

Additional Improvements

• Continue refining profession leveling instructions and material estimates.
• Expand faction-specific gathering recommendations.
• Improve map integration and navigation.
• Add interface improvements based on player feedback.
• Address reported bugs and compatibility issues.

These features are planned and may be introduced gradually across future releases.
