Classic Profession Guide is an in-game profession leveling assistant designed for World of Warcraft Classic Era. It provides clear, step-by-step guidance for leveling every Classic profession from 1 to 300, while automatically adapting the guide to your character's current profession skill.

Supported Professions

Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Cooking, Enchanting, Engineering, First Aid, Fishing, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, and Tailoring are all supported.

• Automatic skill detection — The guide follows your current profession level and advances as you gain skill.
• Profession rank guidance — Shows when you need to train the next profession rank instead of continuing to craft.
• Material tracking — See how many materials you need for your current step and how many you already own.
• Bag and bank tracking — Material totals include items stored in both your bags and bank, with separate counts for each.
• Compact material display — Quickly identify missing materials with READY and NEED indicators, with an option to hide completed materials.
• Craft estimates — Displays an estimated number of crafts and materials still required based on your current skill.
• Recipe awareness — When your profession window has been scanned, the guide can help identify whether the recommended recipe is available.
• Gathering profession assistance — Mining, Herbalism, Skinning, and Fishing show the resources you should currently prioritize.
• Resource inventory tracking — Gathering resources in your bags and bank are displayed directly in the guide.
• Gathering zone recommendations — Shows suggested Classic zones for your current gathering skill range, including faction-specific recommendations where appropriate.
• Route tips — Provides short guidance on what resources to prioritize while leveling.
• Trainer and recipe-source information — Important trainers, vendors, patterns, formulas, and other profession requirements are shown when needed.
• Map navigation — Use the Open Map button to jump directly to recommended zones and supported trainer/vendor locations.
• Optional TomTom support — Exact locations can use TomTom waypoints when TomTom is installed, while the addon remains fully functional without it.
• Scrollable interface — Longer profession steps and gathering information remain easy to navigate.
• Adjustable transparency — Change the opacity of the guide window and keep the setting between sessions.
• Movable minimap button — Open or close the guide from the minimap and drag the button to your preferred position.
• Persistent settings — Window position, transparency, profession selection, material display preferences, and minimap-button position are remembered.

How to Use

Open the guide using the minimap button or type: /cpg

Select your profession from the dropdown and the addon will determine your current skill and display the appropriate next step.

You can also open the guide directly to a profession, for example: /cpg tailoring

Designed for Classic Era

Classic Profession Guide is built specifically for the current World of Warcraft Classic Era client and focuses on the original 1–300 Classic profession progression.

The addon is designed to provide the information you need without requiring you to constantly leave the game to check an external leveling guide.
