🌙 What is MoonRange?

MoonRange is a cute and customisable spell-range detection addon that lets you know when your target is within range of your chosen spell.

Simply select a spell from your spellbook, choose your favourite magical theme, and MoonRange will display a visual range indicator on your target's nameplate.

No more guessing whether you're close enough to cast!

MoonRange combines practical range detection with beautiful fantasy artwork, animated particles and customisable nameplates.

My goal is to gradually add all the matching themes from Opulent Casting Bars to MoonRange.

I want players to be able to enjoy beautifully coordinated nameplates and casting bars, with matching artwork and magical effects across both addons.

The themes listed above are the ones I've completed so far. More will be added as development continues!

🪄 Getting Started

1. Install and enable MoonRange in your WoW Forever AddOns folder.

2. Type /moonrange in-game to open the settings.

3. Visit the Spells page and choose the spell you want to track.

4. Select your favourite theme from the Nameplates page.

5. Customise your nameplate appearance and enjoy!

MoonRange uses your selected spell's range information to determine when your target is within casting range.

Range detection depends on the game client providing valid range information for your chosen spell and target.

MoonRange was designed with Opulent Casting Bars by SimonPdv in mind.

While Opulent Casting Bars brings beautiful animations to your casting bars, MoonRange focuses on spell-range detection through matching fantasy-themed nameplates.

Original artwork credit belongs to SimonPdv, creator of Opulent Casting Bars.

MoonRange is developed by Candy Black, with additional custom range indicators, visual effects, configuration options and nameplate functionality.
