### Community price sharing (data sync, wire version 2)
- Gossip: a client now shares everything it knows, not just its own trades. Every price
travels with an anonymous per-account tag of the trader it came from and the time of
the trade. When A and B have talked, either hands C both of their prices, still
credited correctly. One slot per trader per item, replaced only by newer data from
that trader, so relaying never inflates a price or counts anyone twice.
- Nothing is lost to a cap any more. Replies go newest-first and say how far back they
reached; the receiver keeps exact notes of the gaps and fills them later.
- Two gears. Out in the world: 80 messages per hour, replies of 10 messages, gaps wait
for the next hello. In a capital, an inn, on a flight path, or with the auction house
open: 300 per hour, replies of 30, gaps fetched at once and every five minutes while
you stay. Arriving somewhere rested says hello again. Over budget, messages wait
instead of being dropped; farm-log traffic rides a lower lane behind prices.
- Prices are never pruned by age, only replaced by newer data from the same trader.
In the blended estimate a price counts fully for a week, then halves every two weeks
down to a tenth, so fresh trades pull the average while old data still helps.
- Your own alts' trades are never stored as a peer's data (they are already in your
ledger). Older saved slots of that kind are cleaned up at login.
- Groups: one hello per member when you join and one per newcomer, no re-pings while
questing. Whispering an offline peer no longer prints "No player named X" in chat.
- Older builds still receive own-trade data from this build; update everyone to get
the relayed prices.
### Drop Rates
- The item list now holds every item and every suffix variant ("of the Monkey" rows)
and scrolls all the way to the end. A client limit on scroll height had frozen it at
roughly row 1,000 (the "27%" wall), and a 400-item cap hid the rest outright.
- The list is built once per change and cached; scrolling only repaints visible rows.
Right-hand panels are cached per selection too.
- Loot groups exported as "every item at 100%" (one of these drops) are read as a
single shared pick, e.g. the Scarlet Judge's 33 Scarlet pieces at 3% each instead of
100% each. Drop % shows the best single-source chance, with a header tooltip saying so.
- Names for suffix variants resolve in the background for the whole list.
### Other
- New getting-started dialog after login (log every character, open the auction house,
bank and bags on each). "Don't remind me again" retires it; `/mm intro` reopens it.
- Tracker: minimizing hides the value table; the tooltip explains the three columns.
- Auction House view: tooltips on "Posted right now" and "Outcomes".
- Item tracker: long names no longer wrap over neighbouring rows.
- Trades: the category prompt can be skipped for three independent reasons, each its
own setting: the partner is in your party, the partner is in your raid, or the trade
happened inside an instance (dungeon, raid, battleground). A trade with a stranger
while grouped still asks. Settings sub-options are indented with tree connectors.
- Price lookups use one indexed pass over your sales instead of a scan per item.
