Bring scattered add-on minimap buttons together in one clean, movable place for WoW: Forever.

Minimap Button: Forever gathers eligible add-on buttons from around the minimap and places them beside one gold controller icon. Left-click the controller to reveal the collection, then click it again to tuck the buttons away.

Rescan for newly loaded minimap buttons at any time.
Restores collected buttons to their recorded minimap positions when organisation is disabled.
Saves position, layout and preferences separately for each character.
No required libraries or companion add-ons.

Only buttons created by installed add-ons are collected. Blizzard controls—including zoom, tracking and the day/night clock—stay in their original positions. Protected buttons, quest markers, resource nodes and other map-location pins remain untouched.

Controls

Left-click controller: show or hide collected minimap icons, including during combat.
Right-click controller: open or close settings outside combat.
Alt-drag controller: move the controller and collection location outside combat.
/mbf: open or close settings.
/mbf horizontal: use a horizontal layout.
/mbf vertical: use a vertical layout.
/mbf size 40: set icon size from 20 to 64.
/mbf spacing 4: set spacing from 0 to 16.
/mbf scan: scan for newly loaded buttons.
/mbf reset: restore the default layout and settings.
/mbf status: print version and layout information.

Combat behaviour

The prepared icon bar can be opened and closed during combat. Collection, release, resizing, reparenting and layout changes wait until combat ends. Collected buttons retain the click actions and tooltips supplied by their original add-ons.

Installation and compatibility

Designed specifically for WoW: Forever 1.60.1, interface 16001. This package is not tagged for Retail, Classic Era or other clients.

Extract the MinimapButtonForever folder into the Forever client's Interface/AddOns directory. Restart the game after the first installation and enable Minimap Button: Forever in the character-selection AddOns list.

Current release: 1.0.14.
