What's new

Midnight Helper 2.11.0

Season 1 is ending. This release is about not missing the things that leave with it.

The closing checklist stopped guessing

Your Season 1 list now tracks what genuinely disappears at the flip, and ticks itself off: the Delver's Journey, the five "of the Dawn" achievements, the three Nullaeus nemesis kills and the Prey capstone that awards the Preyseeker title.

Getting there took some digging. Three of the four rewards Blizzard announced could not be found in the client at all, until it turned out they are hidden Feats of Strength. One promising match was thrown out because reading its criteria showed a different fight entirely. Nothing on that list is a guess; every entry was checked against your own client.

A Codex article on what a season rollover actually does

New under Start Here: what happens to your gear, your currencies and your progress tracks when a season ends. Written without a single item level or date, so it stays true next season as well. It also names the thing people mix it up with, since a stat squish belongs to an expansion's pre-patch and not to a season change.

Patch 12.1

The one real 12.1 bug in the addon is fixed and confirmed on the test realm: combat warnings no longer throw errors during delve fights. Season 2's dungeons, raid and lair are measured and ready behind the scenes, and nothing about them shows until the season truly opens.

Smaller things

Milestones now arrive on their own card instead of a grey chat line, and stay long enough to click. The big 3D boss model defaults to off, though it stays on if you turned it on yourself. Codex search matches what an article is about rather than only its title. The death recap no longer reports the same refusal every session, an accessibility alert can no longer hide behind a toast, and the Delver's Journey has stopped nagging about a track you already finished.
