# Midnight FCT

Midnight FCT is a lightweight floating combat text addon built for World of Warcraft: Midnight. It provides clean, customizable combat feedback without relying on the restricted combat log event APIs used by older scrolling combat text addons.

Track incoming damage, healing, absorbs, power gains, misses, combat alerts, and optional target/focus combat text with movable text lanes and an easy in-game options menu.

## Commands

- `/mfct` - Open the options window
- `/mfct test` - Show sample combat text
- `/mfct unlock` - Move text lanes
- `/mfct lock` - Lock text lanes
- `/mfct reset` - Restore defaults

## Midnight Notes

Midnight FCT avoids the old combat log event stream and uses supported Midnight-safe combat text events. Because Midnight does not currently expose reliable spell ID/icon data for each damage instance, spell icons next to individual damage numbers are not included.
