Description

This is a fairly young project of mine, and I'm no coder whatsoever. Feedback of any kind is highly appreciated! Please contact me on Discord: Rebo#5691 or rebolol.

Midas is an auction-house price tracker and market analyzer for Classic Era. It runs its own full AH scan and stores the prices permanently, so you build a real price history over time instead of the rolling 21 days most tools keep. It doesn't need Auctionator or any other addon.

What it does Top Picks Today — items currently selling clearly below or above their normal price, filtered down to liquid goods that actually move.

Opportunities — a ranked list of flips across your whole archive, scored by margin, liquidity, and how much data backs each one. Sortable and searchable, with a price chart when you hover a row.

Watchlist — the items you want to keep an eye on, shared across all your characters.

Net Worth — your gold plus the value of your items and active auctions, across every character on the account, split by category. Soulbound gear isn't counted, since you can't sell it anyway.

Trades — reads your auction mail and keeps a profit/loss log, then tells you per item whether your listings were priced too low, about right, or too high.

Charts — price history with an optional moving average, plus a weekday view for items that follow a weekly pattern.

Shared scan data If other people on your realm and faction also run Midas, your clients exchange scans automatically in the background, so you still get useful prices on the days you didn't scan yourself. This goes over the addon communication channel: it never shows up in chat, and players without the addon don't see anything. You can turn it off with /midas share.

Getting started Install it and log in (enable "Load out of date AddOns" if the version looks off), then open the auction house and click the Midas Scan button. Scan every now and then to keep your data current. Type /midas to open the window, or click the coin on your minimap.

Commands: /midas, /midas scan, /midas status, /midas trades, /midas share.

This is an early alpha. The core tools are stable, but the shared-data feature is new and hasn't seen many users yet, so expect the odd rough edge. Bug reports and suggestions in the comments are welcome.
