Meta Madness 1.1.0

This release gives Meta Madness a new look, makes the achievement details panel simpler, and expands achievement coverage.

New look

• Flat near-black panels, crisp 1-pixel borders and a single accent color for selection, hover and focus. Text has a clean drop shadow so it stays readable.
• Rebuilt controls.
  • Checkboxes now have an accent-colored check.
  • Arrow buttons for collapsing columns and going back.
  • A proper Sort dropdown.
  • A Window size slider, which you can also move with the mouse wheel.
  • Flat text fields throughout.
• Collection markers. Expansions and collections are marked with slim color bars.
• Requirement status boxes. These now match the new checkboxes: an empty box edged in the requirement’s color means still needed, and a check in that color means done.
• Unchanged: the requirement-type colors, the color key and the gold Tracked marker.

Simpler achievement details

• One-line summary. The header shows your progress and what’s left by type at a glance, for example “3 of 10 · 2 Rep · 1 Dungeon left”.
• Next Steps. The five requirements you’re closest to finishing are listed first. Show all opens the full list grouped by type.
• Folded sections. About, Planning, Your characters and Map pins, checklist & links are folded into one-line headers, each with a short preview of what’s inside. The addon remembers which sections you leave open.
• Cleaner footer. Track, a ••• menu (add to WoW’s tracker, pop out the floating guide, copy the Wowhead link) and Missing only.

More complete achievement coverage

• Every tier of a series is found. The scan now picks up every tier in an achievement series (II, III and so on), not just the next one you need.
• Metas inside other metas are listed, including ones in categories the default achievement window doesn’t show.
• New /mm audit command. It shows how many achievements were scanned, how many metas are in each collection, and any meta that couldn’t be matched to an expansion.
• Rescans automatically. Your saved scan is refreshed once after updating, so nothing needs to be done.

Fixes and housekeeping

• Fixed a freeze at the end of the loading screen, caused by holiday detection reacting to its own calendar updates (1.0.1).
• Update tools can find the addon. CurseForge and Wago project IDs are now included, so the CurseForge app, the Wago app and WowUp can detect updates (1.0.2).

Notes

• Your settings, tracked achievements and checklists carry over unchanged.
• Holiday detection still requires an English-language game client.
• Player tips are summarized from Wowhead.com comments, and each tip links to the original comment.
