Meta Madness

Meta Madness

Every meta achievement, Feat of Strength and hidden achievement in one place. You see what you’re missing, why, and how to get it.

Meta Madness is an achievement planner for World of Warcraft Retail. It breaks each meta achievement into its requirements, color-codes them by type, and shows what’s left, so you never have to dig through nested achievement windows again.

Color-coded requirements

• Each requirement type has its own color: reputation, dungeons, raids, PvP, exploration, quests, professions, collections, world events, and more.
• Brightness shows status at a glance. Bright means done, faint means still missing.
• A stacked progress bar on every achievement shows which types are holding you back.
• A colorblind-friendly palette is available in settings.

Plan your play session

• Available now: holiday achievements light up while their event is running.
• Farm this week: Feat-of-Strength mount and item drops from raids, with your current lockout status on each character.
• Alt progress: see how far each of your characters has gotten on an achievement.
• Map waypoints for hard-to-find steps. Works with TomTom or the built-in map pin.
• Easiest-first sorting for Feats of Strength, so quick wins come first.

Community tips, credited to Wowhead

• Selected tips from Wowhead comments, summarized for each achievement, with the date and vote count.
• Every tip links to the original Wowhead comment, so you can read the full discussion.
• Direct links to the Wowhead page and the community wiki for more detail.

Feats of Strength and hidden achievements

• A curated catalog of Feats that can still be earned, each labeled by type: holiday, raid drop, questline, reputation, legendary, and others.
• Step-by-step checklists for secret and hidden achievements, such as the Mind-Seeker, that save your progress.
• Add your own checklist steps to any achievement.

Built for daily use

• Track achievements, then search across every collection.
• Optional chat alerts as you make progress.
• Minimap button and keybinds.
• Compact rows and an adjustable window size.
• Shift-click links an achievement in chat, Ctrl-click opens it in Blizzard’s achievement window, and Alt-click opens it on Wowhead.
• Scan results are cached, so the addon opens quickly after the first scan.
• A welcome screen explains the layout and color key on first launch.

Commands

• /mm opens Meta Madness.
• /mm welcome shows the intro and color key again.
• /mm status shows diagnostics.
