Meimi Ability Cost SOD

A simple, lightweight World of Warcraft Classic (Season of Discovery) addon that overlays the exact resource cost of your abilities directly on your action bar buttons.

Features

• Dynamic Cost Display: Shows the numeric cost of abilities (Mana, Energy, Rage, Focus, Health) at the bottom center of the action button.
• Resource Coloring: Cost text is color-coded to match the resource type (e.g., Blue for Mana, Yellow for Energy, Red for Rage).
• Insufficient Resource Indicator: The cost text turns gray if you do not currently have enough of the required resource to cast the spell.
• Real-Time Updates: Instantly updates costs when they are modified by buffs (like Clearcasting) or form/stance changes.
• Macro Support: Works with macros that cast specific spells.

Installation

1. Download or clone this repository.
2. Place the MeimiAbilityCost_SOD folder inside your World of Warcraft addons directory: _classic_\Interface\AddOns\
3. Log into the game and ensure the addon is enabled.

Usage

The addon works automatically out of the box, attaching to the default Blizzard action bars (Action Bar, MultiBarBottomLeft, MultiBarBottomRight, MultiBarRight, MultiBarLeft).

Configuration

If you have the MeimiCore_SOD addon installed, you can configure the text position.

1. Type /meimiconfig in chat to open the master settings window.
2. Select the Ability Cost tab on the left.
3. Use the dropdown menu to select whether the cost text should appear at the Top, Center, or Bottom of your action buttons.
