This build consolidates all development since 0.8.2.
New
- Item usability now mirrors the in-game Adventure Guide. Instead of hand-maintained proficiency tables, the addon uses the game's own loot filter to decide what a spec should use. When you inspect any class/spec, you see exactly the items that spec is meant to equip - including the subtleties a static list can never get right: no off-hand held items for non-casters, no intellect weapons for physical specs, no daggers for Outlaw (even though it technically could), and so on. This works correctly even while you are logged in on a completely different character.
- "Show all" toggle in the window header. Also lists the items that would normally be hidden (not usable by the selected spec). They stay clearly marked - dimmed row, and a "Not usable" note in place of a rating - so you can quickly sanity-check what the addon is filtering.
- Dungeon loot is grouped by item slot (raids are still grouped by boss). In Mythic+ the whole dungeon pool is what matters, not the individual boss, so a slot view is far more useful - same grouping as the wishlist.
- The addon version is shown in the window title, so it is always obvious which build is loaded.
Fixed
- Fixed the loot pool being limited to your own class, which meant previewing another class or spec showed no (or the wrong) gear.
- Fixed gear being hidden when previewing a spec whose primary stat differs from your logged-in character.
- Fixed weapons and off-hand items showing for specs that cannot use them.
Changed
- The "not usable" rating label now reads "Not usable" (previously "Wrong class"), which is accurate for armor type, weapon type and stat mismatches alike.
Notes
- Item usability is delegated to the game's Encounter Journal loot filter, so it should match the Adventure Guide one to one. If the game cannot provide a filtered result, the addon shows everything rather than risk hiding something usable.
- The rating itself is unchanged: items are still scored purely against your hand-maintained stat values (M+ / Raid profiles), independent of item level.
